The beginning was very promising so I hoped for some fluff somewhere along the way. I can't say I'm not satisfied how this ends with a perfect friendship scene though. It's lovely. :)

Fantastic! But no, seriously, I loved this! I will never be over Rose and the tenth doctor. AND I have some love for whump. This was the first fanfic I read of DW and I gotta say, you set the bar high! Their characterizations and dialogue were perfect. I could hear them just as well as see everything happening. So, thank you for writing this. I look forward to reading your other works (assuming I get my butt in gear) and look forward to any future works, yeah? :)

this story could actually be a T since there is not much gore and nothing sexual in it

Lovely, beautifully written. The description of their life together and the fun and joy they get out of it is fantastic and mkes the horror of what follows even more disturbing. Part of me wants to ask questions about why and who but actually that's beside the point. This story (for me) is about their freindship/relationship and not aliens and plots. Congrats.
