This story is just...wow!

I've always just read atem/anzu or yami-yugi/anzu and i finally decided to come and read some vaseshipping because I find Mana to be absolutely adorable :3 And to be honest, in the anime, there are actually quite a few hints.

I have loved every single part of this story so far and I'm positive I'll love the rest of it too! :D I completely understand how you feel about getting really far into a story and then just getting a new idea and wanting to start that or even just thinking that you want to do something different.

It gets annoying for me because I just want to hurry up and finish one story but i always end up starting a new one in between or writing a one-shot and putting off the original. But anyways, take your time with updating :) it's your story so take as long as you need, although I really hope the next chapter comes soon XD

I can't wait for it, the suspense is just so thick! but I love how you toned it down with this chapter :) just a nice chat between atem and mana...and then of course marik and bakura must join and make it hilarious XD I love those two

It was a very funny chap, I loved the whole mana and Atem theme to it and I am dying to know what the eighth key is...
I wonder what will be Atem's reaction when he sees the whole scketch and when they figure out that they use to be an item, I can just picture what Mahad's reaction will be.

I like how gone more in depth about why Atem took the news so well; because your explanation does make sense. Personally, I didn't think Atem taking the news so well before was unrealistic or anything, but that was a nice touch.

I found Bakura comment about robing Atem's past life's tomb rather funny. It really seems like something he'd say so damn much.

I find it amusing how Atem mentioned that Mahad bolted out of the room when Mai came to visit the game shop. Why am I not surprised that he did that? lol

I find it awesome how Bakura and Marik became friends so fast. Honestly, I am not surprised about that at all.

I find it cool how you hinted at Marik having some personal issues he doesn't want to talk about. My guess it has to do with his dad. I am very curious to see what actually went down when Shadi showed up in this version, especially about what happened after he did when they were on the surface.

I found Bakura's teasing about Atem's crush on Mana amusing. I also enjoyed how he called Yugi "Baby Panda".

Actually, I heard the reason why it's taking Scott Lynch so long to get the next book out is that he had some issues in his personal life since he stated it on his blog and in an interview. If I remember right, he had a really bad case of depression and panic attacks for awhile a few years back which made it much more difficult for him to write before he got better (don't worry, he's fine now). There were some other things which went on his personal life, but I forget exactly what those things are. Also, the third book is out now which tells me is still committed to the series and is better now, but had some curb balls along the way.

Still, I am glad that you are determined to finish this story since I really want to see more of it, and I am sure many people feel the same way.

Everyone's being surprisingly calm about the revelations of their past lives. I'd be kind of freaking out if I had a past life where my uncle was an evil bastard and I ruled as a Pharaoh (or Queen in my case). Especially when said uncle is a walking corpse out for your blood . . . And if I were Atemu, the idea that my past self is currently a mummy stuck in a tomb filled with gold and other valuable would be CREEPY. The only good thing about the idea is that all those valuables are technically his . . . which could possibly make him richer than Kaiba.
