Loved this! The Admiral was a great character, a proper crusty old sea dog and your Wickham really made my skin crawl. But your Lizzie was absolutely top notch. I so want to be her when I grow up!

Very much enjoyed this story and your writing style. I will say though that I'm not crazy about this ending. I like the interactions between Cathy and Bennet just fine, but it didn't feel like a proper conclusion to this story to me. I'd love a little epilogue... pretty please? ::begging face::

Wonderful story. I loved your take on the characters and the addition of the new characters. I do feel disappointed though that you ended with Bennett & Lady Catherine. I was hoping for a chapter ending with Elizabeth & Darcy.

I just started this second of your stories I have read. I must say that after only three chapters I am very much looking forward to the rest. I enjoyed the simple yet effective way you established the basic differences between your AU and the cannon storyline, with hints of information yet to be revealed. I am both intrigued and elucidated by your use of period slang, and your glossary thereof. I wonder if you are a fan of Georgette Heyer who is said to have had the greatest mastery of Regency idiom.

I realize you are no longer writing this story, but I feel feedback is always welcomed. And it is new to me with all the concomitant excitement and desire to discuss. I look forward to reading more.
