| Kyltie09 chapter 9 . 5/28/2014
Oh, my gosh. I didn't expect the monk Kaishin to be the twins' father. I can't believe he killed his wife...accidentally, of course. But now we know one reasons why Kimi's so twisted...update soon. This story is getting interesting.
| windygalia chapter 9 . 4/11/2014
I must admit, seeing the twin's father as a monk was unexpected. In a way, I do feel sorry for Kaishin (Kohaku Watsuki) because of his mistakes in the past, he lost his wife and he almost lost his daughter to Byakko when she went off to face him alone. Granted, he probably deserved her hatred, but it does looked as if he has repented by becoming a monk. Yet, there is that moment where Byakko managed to coax out his inner demon near the end.
I was also delighted in seeing Himerish again. I can imagine him as an abbot for sure. He does looked the part. I really love how you brought back characters like Orube and Himmerish into this story and give them a role and I also like how you brought in characters that only existed in the cartoon version like Miranda and the Tracker.
I am confuse as to why Byakko couldn't just kill the Emperor if he wanted the man's throne so much.
Update soon, I look forward to reading the next chapter.

Amazing part! It was really exciting. Congrats for the great idea to add Himerish! :) Kimi's story is really sad. I really like her. Looking forward for the next part from this awesome story!

An really interesting and exciting part! Can't wait for the next one! I'm wondering why Kimi reacted thus at the end - may this man be an Celestial Warrior masked as Kaishin?

This is running a bit late, but as you reminded me on DA, I haven't gotten here yet.
To be honest...not as happy with this chapter as the previous chapters. The tenses really jump around and it's pretty distracting. Also, Kimi's relative is a bit on the convenient side.
On the flip side, the fight scenes are pretty good and I like the monks. The way they handled the situation was pretty good.
Overall, I liked it, so keep updating

What's fascinating to me about this chapter is all the cultural references. From Zhang Yide, the White Snake, the Shaolin monks, and even their spiritual Buddhist mantra for purification, this chapter is quite interesting. It seems to me that you have definitely done your research and it feels like I'm reading some of those awesome Japanese cult manga series, such as xxxHoLic.
I did try to listen to the Sanskrit version of the Great Compassion Mantra on youtube, and you're right...it sounded very peaceful and beautiful and very fitting for the monks in this story.
I also wonder about all of the relationship between Kimi with the Guardians as well as her relationship with people. Based on my interpretation of her so far, it is as if she doesn't trust people that easily and her cynical and twisted personalities can only be rooted in something that had happened to her in the past. The cliffhanger at the end of this chapter seems to point in that direction. I wonder if Kaishin is really a friend or a foe.
And I am very keen on finding out more on Kyochi, the missing Guardian of Darkness. So far, he is still a mysterious figure who's...out cold...or incapacitated to do anything and that makes me wonder more about him as a person.
Another great chapter. Keep up the good work. I look forward into reading the next one soon.

I am totally digging this story of yours. It's so much more interesting than the later comic issues these days. And wow, they managed to put Kyochi's healing potion to use now. I like how you remember the tiny details. Great chapter and I can't wait to read the next one. I really want to find out why Kimi lashed out at the man who saved her and her friends.

*gasp* Oh my gosh! What had those evil Warriors done to Kyochi? They're gonna use him against his own sister and the other Guardians? By the way, love the exorcism part and nice cliff hangers. Is Kaishin another cousin of Kimi's?

I'm curious about Kishimoto and his little sister now. Are they going to be recurring characters in this story, too?
| windygalia chapter 7 . 1/28/2014
A slower paced chapter, but still enjoyable enough, especially near the end.
| windygalia chapter 6 . 1/28/2014
what I actually love about this story is all the research you've put into for your plot and your characters. I love how you integrated the Deadly Sins into this story, even though they're from western beliefs yet for the Celestial Warriors, you've based them from the Four Symbols that exists in East Asian countries. What's more, I love the creativity of their elements. Rather than using the five Chinese elements, you've managed to give them all western elements such as water, fire, earth, and air that would fit their symbols and characteristics. It looks like they will be the biggest opponents the Guardians have ever faced as of yet.

I do recall seeing Zhuge Liang somewhere on the net and in video games. It's nice to see your Lusterian version of this man as Kimi's uncle. Also, it's nice to see that there are cities like Edo on the planet of Lusteria, too. Oddly, I thought it would be mostly wild and dangerous since the first chapter. Interesting take near the end...makes me wonder if Kenji will be back with a vengeance and if the phial will play a role in this story.
| windygalia chapter 4 . 1/28/2014
I'm not surprised to see the students excited about Kimi on her first day at Sheffield since they do get excited whenever there is a new student both in the original comic series and the animated series of W.I.T.C.H.
I am curious to see if this Kishimoto boy will play a vital role in the story. Also, I am curious to know how he and Kyochi could have similar black auras.
As for Matt...he probably deserved that anyway.
