| 101Icestormxx chapter 31 . 12/16/2013
ah the good old fashioned feminist fanfics, always a good read even if I don't believe in any of it myself
Pyro was interesting in this, not just another Mary-Sue or disfigured man, and I like how you brought both Medic and sniper into it with a little backstory, not many authors do that with TF2 )
all in all very good story, and keep up the good writing amico 3
| I'm Judging You chapter 31 . 12/15/2013
Nice story, a bit sappy at points, but still a good story.
| 101Icestormxx chapter 23 . 12/14/2013
wow she took that well XD
if it had been id probably have screamed and swore for a while, sat alone for another few hours refusing human contact and hugging my cat, and only THEN saying yes as long as they knocked me out for the jab XD
and afterwards have knocked down a wall or something to regain a sense of control in my life ;
| 101Icestormxx chapter 12 . 12/13/2013
looks like medic has some dark past he wants to forget, and music box references as well 3
for the record I google translated what the German meant and felt kind of ill afterwards ; bloody Nazis ...

The end? You mean it's done? Like finished? Full stop?
Great ending thought :) I've really enjoyed this story!
| TheRavenBlade chapter 31 . 6/8/2013
Hee, a nice, warm ending. :) A sweet little conclusion of Joan finding the family she never really had, and being accepted at last. All the members of said family varying in degrees of mental instability and most a touch of, 'violent as hell,' of course - But it works better than all of them just being sane. Because even though everyone is screwed up in their own way, they now have not one, not two, not three, but eight other people just as messed up as they are that they could get along with. That, and they're all they've got in the world. In strange way, the place where they murder people and fight to death with others on a near daily basis, is their haven. Not only that, Joan has her daddy now, which tends to perk people up after twenty two years of depression and negligence. My favourite bit of the chapter, however, I think, was the paragraph where Mick launched his arrow at BLU Spy. Not because of, 'YEAH, YOU GOT OWWWWNED, BITCH!' (though perhaps a tad) more along the lines of being invested in the man, who frankly acted about emotions in the same sorta way I do myself, finally realizing there's more to being on RED than killing people. A surprisingly subtle, 'the tinman gaining a heart,' message that was brief but very rewarding, and the awesomeness of it being magnified as he pulled the string and broke the BLU Spy's skull. (that was such an awesome kill. :3)
Overall, there were a few bumps in the road, but the warm, fluffy feeling in me is telling me that this story was a good ride to be on and I'm left satisfied with how it turned out. :P This overall was a good little tale with good symbolism and good characters, (though I still wish some were fleshed out just a tiny-tad more) and in conclusion, I'm happy I stuck around to end. :D

While I don't often try to respond to anonymous reviews, as that requires reviewing my own story, I'd like to respond to you, "Silent Majority".
While I do take your point, I'd like you to ask yourself: were they truly working together? Were they willing to sacrifice for each other?
Or were they simply trying to use each other as tools in their desperation?
(And to a lesser extent, being bossed around by the Spy.)
Even if they truly were working together, they learned that lesson far too late, only realizing the value of teamwork when they were desperate for a last ditch attempt at undoing the situation they worked themselves into.
RED on the other hand, while it had its conflicts, has been at least trying to resolve those problems and forming bonds.
There was no loyalty in BLU. Only exploitation and desperation. They saw their teammates as tools, not friends and allies.
THAT's the key point.
| Silent Majority chapter 31 . 6/7/2013
The whole moral about BLU's "every man for himself" attitude kinda fell down with the fact that they'd been working together that whole last plotline, they only lost because they were down 4 men. :/
