good characterization...could see the story play out on the TV now, written well for Jack Lord and James MacArthur pairing

OMG what an action packed chapter! AND an evil cliff-hanger to boot!

I sense an exciting climax is coming up! I feel sorry for Bergman...first Steve and now Danny taking after his boss at being stubborn. Great update :-)

Good thing Kono and Chin arrived at the scene of the crash pretty quickly or else Danny might have other ideas that will more than likely land him in deeper waters. That impertinent ER doctor made me shake my head!
Loved the last few lines - Doc's comment on stitching Danny's leg back together and Danny's thoughts on Kono being "an immovable force".

OMG what have you done to Steve? Intense chapter. Once again you haven't been very kind to our sandy haired, blue eyed detective, have you?

Yikes tear gas! Nasty stuff for our guys to get mixed up in. I enjoyed the light banter between Steve and Danny toward the end about why Danny didn't have a handkerchief to shield his nose and mouth with. It relieved the tension for both the characters as well as the readers LOL!

One tiny thing: I wasn't sure about this sentence located six paragraphs from the bottom of the page - "The open windows had cleared the gas and Steve was careful to close them almost to."

Of course that minor detail didn't spoil the chapter any :-)

Another great chapter that ended with a bang! Glad that Danny and Kono weren't hit.

Great ending to a great story. I loved the touches of humor throughout, and I loved how the team came together at the end. Kono was awesome. The whole plot went together very nicely, and this was a really entertaining read. I was always very happy to see when a new chapter went up. I also LOLed at the conclusion, too. I can totally understand any of the characters saying that to Steve - "and those are your virtues," LOL - and Steve wondering how anyone could possibly see him like that. You really captured all of the characters so well here, which just makes it all the more enjoyable. Thanks for sharing it.

Love, love, love this ending! Bergman's explanation to Steve is priceless. This was an exciting, enjoyable story and I do appreciate you posting it here. I hope that you have another one in the works for us to enjoy in the near future. Mahalo!

I was expecting a conclusion, but now there's another cliff hanger! At least Steve is safe. Even in his bedraggled condition, he's still worried about Danny. But Danny did accomplish what he set out to do: rescue Steve. This was a really clever plan. Even injured and in pain, Danny is one smart cookie! I'm looking forward to your next chapter!

The excitement is just building and building. Danny is an unstoppable force, even injured! Chin and Kono know it, Bergman knows it and now Jameson knows it! I love this line:

"His face was pinched and pale with pain, but his determination burned as brightly as Steve McGarrett's own."

I can feel Danny's panic at the hours he has lost and his pain as he maneuvers himself around on the crutches with no meds. But he has learned well from Steve - nothing is going to keep him down. I do hope that he wears that flak jacket, but yeah, he may be too stubborn to do that. I'll be waiting to find out the plan Danny has in mind. He's one smart guy! Thanks for the frequent updates. The suspense is building - now there is a time limit! I'm not sure Danny's in any shape to be chasing after Mickey. But he's smart and his mind is working - maybe Kono and Chin can do the leg work and together, the three of them can rescue Steve. I'll be on the edge of my seat waiting for your next update. I've finally found some time to sit and get back to reading this suspense filled story. Mickey Johnston is one cruel and utterly vile villain that you've created and I'm loving hating him :-)

Poor Danno and his snitch, Benny. This is going to be a big blow for Danny.
