I like that you describe fighting stuff (martial arts). I'm not great at describing it, myself. Probably because I have never been in a fight in my life and have little to no knowledge of the subject.

Wow!...just Wow! I just stumbled onto this story and was quite taken in with the quality of the writing.

Coming from the Danny Phantom fandom, I am much less familiar with Teen Titans but find that I have no trouble following the story with the way you have your characters explain necessary information.

I also appreciate how you didn't rush your story. The details really make it easy to vividly picture it in my head. For instance the description of the trip Danny and his mother took to reach Jump City or the description of the people surrounding buildings of their new apartment made it feel real. The research and attention to details really paid off. You also didn't rush the action. If you had pushed the plot faster, it would not have built up sufficient sympathy for Jace's involvement in the wrong crowd or Danny's determination to try to help him against his better judgement. You make a good case for showing how someone could get pulled into it. Paralleling Amina, Jace, Tim, and Sean's entrapment in HIVE we get enough hints that Vlad is also trying to keep those he cared about safe.

I am a bit unclear on just how evil Vlad is. In later episodes of DP Vlad really goes off the deep end and does things that are utterly beyond the pale but here he really doesn't seem that bad and seems to be good for his mother. It is of course the Author's Right to show different takes on a character. It puts us into Danny's shoes as he ponders about giving Vlad a chance.

I liked the way you show Danny's reaction to Hamlet in an earlier chapter and how it hits too close to home with Vlad and Maddie's hasty wedding plans.

You did a great job of showing the development of Jace's group into a competent team. I am blown away by how you show the other side of the story. Tim's death is a tragedy, not the just rewards of a HIVE thug. You show it effecting Richard as well as Danny. And of course you leave us with the irony of Richard urging Danny to talk to the school councilor.

On a completely different point I thought I'd bring up a little glitch with time zones. I suppose I noticed it because my kids are spread out and it is a factor in our communication. California is in the Pacific Time Zone so it is only two hours behind Amity Park if it is in Illinois (three hours if it is is Indiana). I don't mean to be nit picky but you said you were rewriting and it is an easy fix. I'm impressed with your professionalism in rewriting.

I want to express my appreciation not to complain that the story has not been updated considering that haven't updated my stories in ten years and I don't have any excuses, like you do. This story is worth the wait.

I was so excited when I saw that this had been updated! I also think it's cool that even a year later I was able to pick up where I left off like I'd read the last chapter just yesterday. This is one of those rare stories you never seem to forget.

Damn... yeah, when not everyone has superhuman durability it's a wonder why this kind of thing didn't happen earlier. I wonder why the hive was interested in Danny earlier too... Maybe it has something to do with Jack. This situationis all kinds of tripped up and Spectra isn't helping.

I’m torn. On the one hand the slow build is doing awesome things for drama, on the other were 27 chapters in and still on the first ghost and first arc with little sign of resolution.

The writing is awesome so I don’t want to stop, but the pace is so incredibly slow it makes me want to wait for 4 chapters to get out, and hope they conclude the current arc, if I thought that would be enough

Still gets to me how cool it was adding in Dr. Spectre, and how Danny's coincidental going out of school made it seem like something was up. The HIVE stuff is really good, too.
