| LegoHarry chapter 1 . 1/14
Thank you for the McGonagall and Pomphrey bashing. It always annoyed me how they ignored everything that happened to Harry!
| Red Phoenix Dragon chapter 10 . 1/14
It could have been this easy if Dumbledore had not wanted the glory. Good to see Hermione and Luna working together to save their Harry and end Voldemort but what will they do to save their Harry from the dark lord of the prophecy?
Thanks for sharing your story. Please update soon.
| Runecutter chapter 10 . 1/14
The first half is a brilliant twist and if prepared carefully you could probably even find enough spots in the books where the "preemptive" methods of the time travelers helped Harry or got them visible for a short amount of time, if only to strengthen the concept of "only what has already happened can happen" by providing lots of hints. Actually that sounds like a lot of fun both to try and write and to read ;)
And as for Wormtail losing his bones... well try to change forms and flee with THAT little problem, coward! :D Brilliant adaption of the book story.
But the ending was ... dubious... two girls not finished with school chanting a bit and all Horcruxes comfortably getting destroyed? A bit too convenient and easy for my tastes. And it would need a lot more of preparation and training to perform, too!

Interesting story Keep up the good work
| Runecutter chapter 9 . 12/19/2013
Oh I've got ONE possible solution for the Time Turner problem... it was always wondrous how many classes Harry shared with the slytherins or that we do not hear more about classes shared with the other two houses... maybe Dumbledore's meddling with the class combination caused a problem with the shifting of courses needed in earlier years for students trying to visit all twelve subjects?
The list is - like most efforts to that effect - an excellent example of the many "inexplicable" plot holes to be found in all 7 books and 8 movies and the argument about them is presented very entertaining and well laid out. But that does not yet make a good story and finding this splinter of a future story in the bin-file seems to prove you've noticed that too... btw i like the attempt to diverge slightly from canon with the idea Hermione might have been proposed to jump a year... Could almost make a brilliant start into a story when she's just about to take said proposition in fourth or sixth year and only luna's interference got her to notice something's wrong...
Other points for your list are: why has no other werewolf student ever been accepted after Remus proved it can be handled quite safely? The one little incident can be handled either by strict oaths to never use the knowledge about a students lycantropy for pranks or to get any other student killed or simply by better safety precautions around the tunnel to the Shack... (and why does no citizen of Hogsmeade wonder about the Shack that seems to be accepted as the "most haunted place" in all of England yet was built not yet 20 years before for Remus?)... Why was Hagrid never vindicated? Was the punishment just a foul compromise of politician!Dumbledore who had to accept that he'd never force a half-giant wizard through OWLs and NEWTs? The investigation seems to have been about as thorough and well done as the ones around every single incident that almost cost Harry his life... Even Draco's confession in sixth year goes without consequences and he's even allowed to complete his work at the cabinet... resulting in several hurt students and order members a dead Dumbledore and Draco and Snape fleeing the school.. Well... turned out really spiffy that one, didn't it? As for the rest they only ever found out about the real culprits when at the end of the year Harry had his PC adventure like boss-fight with the big bad of the moment and some confessions were exchanged. Dumbledore and his staff never had the foggiest (while that is not absolutely sure as we only get harry's perspective they voice their surprise at the happenings often enough to make the assumption a solid and valid guess even if some small doubt stays especially in regards to mastermind manipulator Dumbles) about any of those incidents and neither did they seem to care much about them.
And then look at how glorious Dumbledore has a record in regards to the efficient reeducation of the Death Eater spawn... While there is a lot of grey space for Slytherins that just were caught in the conflict between the hero-house and the murderer's mudpit and we get by no account complete numbers of all the 13 years worth of little snakes going through Hogwarts during Harry's times there a lot of the named ones and all of those connected somehow to any of the named "redeemed" purebloods are so obviously evil little bigots that the teachers have to be completely incompetent to believe in any chance even one of the pests might be willing to be turned back to the light...
So: Paranoia is a beautiful trope to dedicate them a whole novel length story to (and some guys have done... If you do not know it, look up "arekay" and his "power of paranoia", beautiful fic although it's losing a bit of pace right now) It's just that as it is this fragment shows not enough story-ish-ness and too much raw data about what there is to fear / be anxious about...

You finished just before Hermione discovered what a Nargle was that hung around Harry that had red hair and ate everything in sight.
Thanks for sharing.

I think this story is so good.
This can actually be the explanation for all the unrealistic stupidity and actions.
You should write a longer story about this.

I liked this except for the ron bashing. Ron is my favorite weasley because I always felt bad for him. I mean, molly didn't exactly hide the fact that she wanted a girl and forgets about ron. And the only reason she pays attention to the twins is to yell at them which is why I think that they started pranking, but ron doesn't have that. Hes not stupid because he gets about the same grades as harry and beat mcgonagalls chess set as a first year, but he always comes off stupid because of hermione being so smart and isn't as good as defense as harry. Other than that, I loved the mcgonagall and lupin bashing. I hated how in canon, harry wasn't mad at lupin for abandoning him for more than a decade, and lupin lovers defend him for it! And I hated how people weren't mad at mcgonagall for sending 4 first years out into the FORBIDDEN FOREST at MIDNIGHT! and took 150 points just for being out of bed after curfew when she only took 5 from hermione for looking for a troll. It doesn't matter that hermione was covering for harry and ron, because mcgonagall believed that she deliberately risked her life. And that whole punishing neville for the password thing was ridiculous. I mean, one of the punishments was forbidding other students to tell neville the password when there was an insane mass murderer on the loose who had already successfully snuck into the grounds at least 2 times before. It doesn't matter that sirius was innocent, mcgonagall believed he was guilty.

love this one :)

I like this story.
I think Harry, Hermione and Luna would make a good family.
I like the part where Harry recognizes that Remus didn't really do his part as a good friend of the family and left him to abuse. So Harry didn't care for him.
| Runecutter chapter 8 . 7/9/2013
Hmm a brilliant theory and a strong base for a fun story about how Harry reclaims his love :D
But this is not a story, not even a fragment, it's a glimpse into what may one day become the seedcorn to one.
| MelodyPotterSnape chapter 7 . 6/17/2013
I love it when she is bashed. I'm working on one right now were she goes to jail for the detention she gave Harry in first year. Basically he gets hurt and responsibility falls on her.
| MelodyPotterSnape chapter 4 . 6/17/2013
I like how you portrayed lavender in this.
| MelodyPotterSnape chapter 3 . 6/17/2013
II love this idea. I love how McGonagall and Pomfrey are getting in trouble. It kinda innoys me when everyone makes her forced to give shoddy medical treatment.
| Runecutter chapter 3 . 6/6/2013
You show more and more potential for your already interesting on its own story "Rejected"... If you'd really turn it up to eleven and follow all this possible paths and ideas the result could only be epic... maybe a tad on the clichéy side of things, but there's nothign wrong with using some clichés to tell a good and entertaining story that destroys Dumbledore's whol existance and bashes as many (of the annoying) Weasleys as possible :D Bill Delacour does sound somewhat intriguing, doesn't it? :D
