amazing how many ideas fanfictions like these can come up with to solve canon issues with for example, Harry Potter's living situation... Oh here's one more.. in an anime (series, guess!) there's this city in Japan called "Academy City" home to 2.3 million people with 80% of them students; with technology estimated at being 30 years ahead of the "modern era" or for Wizarding Britain, about half a century (Wizards! GET CELL PHONES!).. Heck no one cares if anyone's a "freak" with magic there.. actually one would be an "esper" there.. I'd estimate, in conjunction to a fair comparison to who's on what level.. Harry'd be a solid level 2-3.. out of 5 and that's considering the fact that Level 5s are quite rare.. There are only 7 of them and aside from the 3rd ranked, most of them are insane or somewhat sociopathic (I've read a few have calmed down on that matter); although the magic bit may actually cause some trouble.. warring sides, science and magic.. who knows?!

Anyways, I like how the Invisibility Cloak was interpreted here, especially with how it can't even be detected somewhat by Twilight's magic; and she also brought up a huge point about the Mirror of Erised, I realized recently about Erised being spelt desire backwards; pretty nifty on the author's part there. Anyways nice solid update

You've earned a trophy! From the depths of the heart! XD hey, it's good to see you again... and, as always, a great reading with a perfect synchronization between the two worlds. I was expecting Dumbledore, but at the end he didn't show up. A detail, and very well executed. I'll get to work with this new chapter when I finish with the new one of my story, Mother's Love. Great, keep it up.

This was surprisingly fun to read. I've only started watching MLP recently, and I'm still boggling at how much I'm enjoying it. And this story has now opened me to the idea of MLP fanfiction. I can feel myself sinking further and further into their world...it's only a matter of time before the bronyhood overtakes me at this point...I must...resist...

Existential crisis aside, this is a very well constructed story. You'd think it would be impossible to fuse these two worlds like this, but the way everything worked out was very in character for everyone involved. Hagrid rolls with it, Dumbledore plays with it, Twilight reads about it, and everyone else just follows Dumbledore's lead like the sheep they are-with a few exceptions that either don't know enough to care, or just don't care in general. Everything else is the butterfly effect.

It's really refreshing to see all of the idiocy in the first book handled by someone capable of logic and proficient in its use that does so with tact instead of wit or sarcasm. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how no one has ever pointed out that there's nothing stopping the boys from viewing the Mirror of Erised in the daytime.

Spelling, grammar, pacing, characters, plot twists, continuity...everything is great and flows together excellently.

Keep up the great work!

So, no Bumblemore with his trite little homilies, instead we have Twilight who takes a practical approach. The old bumblebee must have had some way of telling that people had been looking in the mirror. I take a great deal of pleasure imagining that the old buzzard will be sitting around all night in a drafty classroom waiting to pull the wise old mentor bullcrap he affects, and get nothing for it but piles.

Wonder if Twilight could do the reverse of an Animagus transformation and change into something bipedal with hands. Doesn't even have to be human just humanoid in shape.

Would be interesting and magical people use to do human transfiguration as fashion.

It is not a SEMester if there are three of them, it is a trimester. Twilight is the sort of person who would know this.

This is the sort of story where an update is bittersweet, since it encompasses both /more story/ and a /finite/ amount of story. I am truly glad to have read it, since the mix of Twilight Sparkle and Spike with the cast of Harry Potter is very well measured.

I'm curious about the line where Harry says he's gotten permission to stay at Hogwarts. I hadn't expected it. I can guess at where that permission arose, but I'm hoping to see it touched upon in text, as well.

For how iffy it started, the story turned out pretty well and I find myself intrigued
