![]() ![]() ![]() Fuck you for that author no romance fuck you |
![]() ![]() ![]() Yo I thought this fic was gonna be wack but it’s honestly it’s fucking amazing like it’s really awesome |
![]() ![]() also, "Jaevla/jævla helvete!" is more like the phrase "Fucking hell!" rather than "Bloody hell!" |
![]() ![]() Thors reaction in the armory was realistic, however I feel it would fit better if instead of 'Jaevla' it was spelled 'Jævla', however you're free to keep it as it is now |
![]() ![]() ![]() This can't be called "fanfiction". There's zero effect all these characters had on the canon plot and it makes absolutely no sense. You might as well have used aliens, gods of any kind, superhuman AI intelligences or a bunch of Maia instead of the Avengers and nothing would've changed. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Love it! I had to laugh when you had Thors horse licking him. My family use to have horses. On day in the middle of summer while I was cleaning their water tub and sweating one of the horses came over and licked up my one arm across my shoulders and down my other arm. My mom, who was waiting for me to finish to help rise it out, asked if I had a nice mini bath..Lol. |
![]() ![]() up to ch 9 Review no changes like all other lame fanfic just copy with added filler |
![]() ![]() ![]() calm down with the patriotism lmao.. great nation indeed |
![]() ![]() ![]() I've read the Redux version of this probably five times, and I can honestly say it's one of if not the best movie crossover fanfictions I've ever read. Bringing the characters of the MCU and Tolkien's world together and the actors who played them (in both worlds) and presenting them in a way that's still in respect to the original Lord of the Rings story is something not everyone I think can do, but you've done it nearly flawlessly (no one's perfect right?). It literally is like watching the movies all over again with new context! Truthfully, I never was much a fan of Lord of the Rings or the Hobbit as much as I was of Star Wars and Eragon, but I've seen all the films, and I can see why this iconic adventure by the late J.R. Tolkien has withstood the test of time and appealled to many generations old and young, and that it deserves to be remembered. I can see the Fellowship being Tolkien's own version of Avengers before they were brought to life, and it makes sense how they would commingle so well. Marvel has always had the most relatable heroes in my opinion, as most of them start off as normal humans before becoming heroes through extraordinary circumstances. The Avengers interactions with a world not like and or unlike their own along with it's people and other Arda creatures really makes this story a page turner, and a great side adventure that works with and doesn't interfere with the MCU at its current time. Also, the bonds they form with the Fellowship including Gandalf, Aragon, Boromir, Pippin and Merry is a true testament to Tolkien's original characters, and if he could read this, I believe he would approve of Gandalf and Thor's pseudo father-son relationship, Steve and Boromir's bond of brotherhood, and later on Faramir (Eowyn too), and Banner's friendship with Merry and Pippin. The battles were spectacularly written, as well as the confrontations with the antagonists including Saruman and of course Sauron. The final battle between the Avengers and Sauron was nothing short of epic, and despite the Avengers presence making a clear difference in the outcomes, like with Boromir surviving, the death of more Nazgul, thus saving hundreds more lives, it didn't minimize the heroism displayed by any of the original Fellowship or the Free People's, as Captain America told the Mouth before slaying him. All in all, this is a crossover story that I believe many should read and continue to be read in the years to come, even when the original movies from both franchises are over hundred years old. Keep up the good work Matt! ...To finish, I also really loved all the humor shared between both groups, especially Thor's inclusion in Gimli and Legolas's competition, and the references to Iron Man whom I sure would have sued Sauron for trademark infringement if he could have, LOL...Also, I have to say that my favorite quote and scene was when Steve Rogers told Sam, "I can't think of anything more appropriate than Captain America flying on a giant eagle." So true, that one was genius, I definitely need to remember it. God bless you sir, and as the late Stan Lee would say, Excelsior! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I agree with you not putting Tony in here, because really, what can he do? He has his suit that he can't fight without; and he may be a genius with money, but that wouldn't do him any good here. #sorrynotsorry for the Tony fans |
![]() ![]() this was just one giant pile of awesome. 12 hours or so just to read. best crossover I've read since a harry potter/Transformers G1 elsewhere. |
![]() ![]() ![]() That was way better than I could have ever imagined. Awesome work and gave me the same joy as watching the trilogy. I really enjoyed trying to figure out how the ripples would change things and especially the Banner perspective. Thanks for the great story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Oh my. Up until now, this story has been steadfastly "walking the stations of the canon" (as TvTropes calls it), with the presence of three of Earth's Mightiest Heroes having had precisely zero effect on the unfolding of the story so far. Let's see if "Hulk vs. troll" (which needs must now bear the Thrilla in Manila style boxing match name "the Gloria in Moria") changes that… |
![]() ![]() ![]() The entomology of the word 'boss' Entomology is bugs. Etymology is words. :) |
![]() ![]() ![]() An INCREDIBLE story that I binged over a weekend. I’ve never read this kind of crossover and it was just beautiful. You depicted their battles so effortlessly and I’m glad I had time to read this masterpiece. |
