Dammit...I realized after the last chapter I reviewed that this wasn't finished and it's been so many years! I saw this story recommended as the gold standard for a Dramione Veela fic so I guess I blanked on even checking to make sure it was complete. I'm really disappointed...happy to have found the story because I agree that it is amazing, and not just the Dramione but all the other characters are really great too, but definitely sad that I'll probably never see the resolution. I'm going to follow the story on the off chance that you do ever come back to it. I certainly hope you do. I know I took a years long hiatus from reading fanfiction before getting back into it, so it's certainly possible. I hope you're well!

Ooohhh...no way out Hermione. I have to say I'm glad it happened without sex. I actually hope that doesn't happen without a glimpse of Malfoy just because that would just not feel right. Even though I'm enjoying the Veela personality immensely I do want him to remember.

Aww...I was kinda hoping they might find a journal of his or something. I'm worried she's so obstinate about none of the others there being a threat that she is going to put herself in a stupid situation.

Oh man, this has me wondering if the memory will come back during the bonding ceremony and if Veela feels like he has to protect his mate from his human half. It seems like the Malfoy half is deeply suppressed so I can't help wondering how much of this he is aware of because it doesn't seem like the Veela half is communicating with him or anything. The human half seems to not have a presence at all at this point. I can't remember if it said anywhere how much of this follows canon, so if she was tortured or not in his home in your story.
