I am so addicted to this story! Frodo just makes me want to hug something soft and small haha. I think your rendition of the dwarves are spot on. Thorin is how I would imagine Thorin would be if he survived the Battle of Five Armies. Fili and Kili...well I just need to remember not to drink water whenever I see their dialogue. I agree so much with your sentiment about romance. I can't name examples off the top of my head, but I see it happening all the time: a strong character becoming weak when romance is introduced into the story. I didn't ship Bilbo and Thorin before. In fact I really thought that I never would...but this story is changing my POV ahahaha. Now I can't see either of them paired with anyone else! If romance is not involved, I feel like, given the chance, Bilbo and Thorin would form a bond like Legolas and Gimli, or Frodo and Sam. Merry and Pippin, Fili, Kili...ah the list goes on! The only negative thing I feel for this story is that I just HAD to have found it at midnight before a full day of work...haha

This is one of the most heart-warming and loveliest stories I have ever read to the Hobbit and I can say, the one I like most. I will definite read it again!
And despite english is not my mothert tounge and sometimes I had to struggle a bit with understanding, I really like your style of writing and your ideas and the perfect link to facts and to the Lord of the Rings-story in the end.
I nearly start to cry in the end to be honest, but not only 'cause it was sad. It is a very good end.
