I really really expected a lighthearted epilogue filled with humor and fluff. I even might have secretly hoped to see Bilbo and Thorin visiting the Shire for the first time and the reactions of the Hobbits when they find out about the marriage. Instead I bawled my eyes out and got my fever even higher. Ah. No matter. I enjoyed it immensely anyway. The story was absolutely delightful! I simply loved it. Thank you!

oh my god. I teared up. I should get an award for that. That epilogue was so heart-breaking in both the good and bad ways. There were only a couple of problems I had with the whole story. I had no idea how long Bilbo had stayed in Erebor. I suspect it had to be a year or two before the epilogue but idk. A few mentions of time would've been nice. The other thing was the relationship. I like the Thilbo but most of the time it seemed so random or nonexistent. Most of the romance itself was random I thought. Whenever it was in either of their POVs they never mentioned a romantic feeling towards the other then all of a sudden they're courting. and the wedding ceremony also came out of nowhere I thought. Not that the relationship wasn't sweet, it surely was. I get that u probably didn't want to make the story super sappy but still. just saying. And i loved yoinkiur incorporation of each and every dwarf, even tho that made the epilogue even sadder. But overall the story was a very good read and I will most likely read it again someday.

I still like the story but it seems that Thorin and Bilbo aren't courting at all. except for the gifts they'll sometimes swap and occasional gesture.

I wish there were more scenes with Bilbo and Thorin together. Fluff is always so nice to read. And Beorn?!

I was wondering if u could give me a time of how long they've been in Erebor as of this chapter? I suspecting at least a month or two but idk

I wish you could've done a scene where Bilbo and Thorin present their courtship to the others. or all of them seeing the bead. But again, im not gonna complain about somwthing when everythung else is so amazing.

I love how parental Bilbo is to Fili and Kili, even though theyre older than him XD And btw i think Bilbos gardener was named Hamfast. at east thats what I've seen many a time

so does Thorin like Bilbo and Fili and Kili know? Or does he not yet know he has feelings for Bilbo but Fili and Kili can tell? I love their spying btw. I just love them in general.

very good story so far. I love your inclusion of the other, lesser known dwarves. Especially Bombur. he never talked in the movies if I remember correctly and I liked how u portrayed him as a nice, joyful cook.
