Are you coming back to this one? I miss Ollie! :)

It's sweet to see Leah connecting with her daughter. She missed so much. Poor Jake. It's confusing but maybe it would be better to just be honest. Then at least they wouldn't have the burden of presence. But maybe they don't know what the truth is. :)

I feel so bad for Jake. And Olivia. And Seth. And just EVERYONE. Can't wait to read more! ;)
| Guest chapter 19 . 7/25/2013
Poor Jake. This would screw with your head. And Edward can see IN his head.
| Inosolan chapter 19 . 7/24/2013
Things are getting pulled out into the open! Painful process - poor Jake! Interesting to see Edward's birdseye-yet-involved view of everything

I totally love it. I love when she says the door was jammed.

I feel like it's Christmas because you have updated all three stories I follow this month (yay!).
Great update! So ... was it me or was there some weird underline chemistry between Ollie and Edward? I hope that doesn't change the direction of her and Jacob (i may cry if it does!). However Jacob fumbling over his words with her - love love love that. She has complete control over him and doesn't even know it. Now ... Seth? Owe ... I want to hug him and tell him it will be okay, maybe he should run to Edward?
Beautiful update as always.

That was intense. I love the picture of Olivia!

I'm totally penduluming between Jake and Edward now! More than in even the book!

I'm glad that Olivia is learning to negotiate a kind of truce with herself and everyone else regarding her nature. Very cool chapter. :)
| brankel1 chapter 17 . 7/6/2013
Love it. Glad Jake & Olivia talked.
| Boopsie chapter 17 . 7/5/2013
Being a teen is awkward enough without having people talk about your boobs! And doing it in like a month! Poor Olivia. Maybe this will drive her to more hunting lessons with Eddie?

It's an interesting thought. Olivia is unique, how do you define the terms and rhythms of your life when you're unique. Still, I think I can understand Jake's confusion. He WAS in a parental position with her, moving instantly to something romantic would be frightening. He'd be worried about taking advantage (the power dynamics would be all wonky at first). In that sense, Edward is in a better position as he never knew Olivia as a baby so the transition is smoother.
Poor Olivia! She's such a human kid in that moment, beset by horrible aunts who have no consciousness of her dignity and feelings. ;) It's tough to be a teenager - caught between adulthood and childhood without a paddle. I hope Leah coming will mean that she's got some protection. Leah would probably understand self-consciousness.
