This was a lovely story, and I really liked how you expanded canon in a completely plausible way that gave Regulus multiple reasons for double-crossing Voldemort. As soon as Bellatrix mentioned Melody, it was clear she was not going to come to a good end. As you wrote her to be immensely likeable, this was doubly sad. Well done!
