Suilad dear Senna and Elis. I stumbled upon your story by chance and find it amazing, interesting and exciting! It's adorable, that you are able, to write such a fascinating story over so long a time. Reading this story give me a wonderful, relaxing time.

so i know I already reviewed, but I decided to read this fic again and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this. I have rarely liked a heroine as much as I liked Eohild and I thought she was SUCH an accurate picture of what a woman would have felt in such an experience, eg; always needing to prove herself, etc which I so appreciated as a reader. I also liked the slowburn approach you have started which I feel is such an important element of a story that involves an immortal being. Thanks so nmuch for all your work xx

I was so ecstatic to see you update! You have no idea how heartening it is to see someone update afetr so long, on such a beloved fic. I loved the character of Eohild and it was so sad to think she would never again grace my screen- but no more! I adored the new chapter and I just cannot wait to see where you go with this. Thanks so much! xx

I’m sad this story is abandoned

Love you’re story. Everything from the dialogue to your OC. I hope you find your muse again! I want to see Eohild’s place in this battle; what she will say when Haldir comes. I want to see if she’ll stay with the Rohirrim, when Aragorn and co. look for ghostly reinforcements. Will Eowyn still ride to battle? Éohild would not leave Merry behind. Sorry, I’m rambling. Thanks again for writing!

i like how Eohild's and Legolas' interactions don't just immediately blow into a romantic phase. This story has GREAT character-building that emphasizes the Fellowship's friendships first before all the gooey-love stuff that you read in most Legomances. And a strong female-lead that doesn't tarnish the plot with sappiness just because she has a crush are hard to find these days.
ps: as this fic has been on hiatus for almost 4 years, permit me to despair for this great story that might never be finished.

On the last review, I meant Eohild not Ireth (spellcheck) but still, can't wait for more!

Agh this is such an amazing ff-a really well written story and one of the best I’ve come across on this site. I especially like the relationship between Legolas and Ireth especially when he’s being all philosophical about her bless him. Maybe you could also write any Feanorian/OFC or Feanor/Nerdanel from the Silmarillion ff as I think you’d capture their relationship really well. I know its been a really long time since you’ve updated and probably won’t see this but if you do, please update-you have such talent and it would be a shame not to continue. Pplz plz update xxx

guys... what happened? what went wrong? I don't understand why anyoneespecially someone so talented and deeply involved as youwould leave an amazing story like this hanging! I'm going to let you three in on something here. I first found this story when I was thirteen. This was a very tumultuous time for me, as my parents had split, my grandma had died, my best friend committed suicide, and I was battling severe anxiety and depression. To me, Eohild was a lifesaver. she was so strong, so brave, so willing to do what needed to be done for her family, friends, and the fate of her world. She, to my young traumatized self, became a beautiful example that not everyone is perfect. we are different, we can't read minds, there are things we don't understand, and we have flaws. we are human. but she taught me that in spite of all that, we can rise above it all for the ones we love... even death. I do believe wholeheartedly that it was this story and others like it that contributed to who I am today. people like you three, bit by bit, save lives through your writing. I'm sure you and authors like you have saved mine more times than I can count, and I am eternally grateful. I pray you finish this someday. I really do. and thank you.

Ahh! Your note said you'd be posting again soon, but that was two years ago!
Anyway, I love this story! Eohild is a wonderful, unique, strong character, while still being flawed as well as lore-friendly. I can't stress how much I appreciate that! You spent a lot of time developing her character in the beginning, and it really paid off as she continues with the Fellowship.
Speaking of the Fellowship, you also took the effort to flesh them out, separate from interactions with the main character. (Third person is so useful for such a thing, and you used it well.)
I also really admire how you show the development of each of the characters' relationships through small, hardly noticeable interactions. Which is why I don't at all think the romance came out of nowhere. Eohild's attraction-turned-friendship is easy to track, as well as Legolas' growing notice of her.
Anyway, I really love this, and hope you'll come back to it soon.
