Well, if I had one critique for this fic is this. Its update schedule is absolutely horrendous. And I mean no offense, seriously. The fic is great and I get how motivation comes and goes, not to mention real life responsibilities. But it’s been 12 years since this fic started. 12 years, yet we’re still not even at Naoto. As it stands, we’d be lucky to get three chapters a year. I can’t complain about the quality, but it’d be nice to see updates come from this fic more regularly. Because at this rate, we’re going to get to 2030, 2035 without finishing at Inaba.

Anyways, all that aside, I had fun rereading this.

I read the whole fic in a week. Amazing stuff, keep up the good work author-san

Honestly, this feels like the happiest Shirou has ever been in a Fate story even compared to other fics. While others focus more on his time during or after the 5th holy grail war, it is nice for a story like this where he can just have fun and build his strength before the main event in Fuyuki. Sure he is Yu in this story but I still like how well you mesh elements of Persona/SMT with the Nasuverse. I kinda wish we could have seen the first interaction between Marie and the gang and revealing her role in assisting Shirou especially since Rise mentions the Velvet Room here.

I really enjoyed this chapter and the girls such as Yukiko and Rise fighting over Shirou's attention was cute. Poor Sakura back home has some competition back home. Looking forward to what is going to happen next in the story and hopefully fanfiction can fix the chapter not appearing issue.
