Looks good so far. One request, please don't make this a bashing session (besides Dumbles) too much. that's one thing that really annoys me with a lot of stories that have such promising starts like this. they sometimes lose the story and the plot with way too much bashing going on. But i'm sure you are a smart writer and wont do such a thing :) Looking forward to more.

Excellent beginning to your story! I am so glad that Merlin rescued Harry from the Dursley's abuse. Thank goodness he will have a chance to learn and grow away from his useless parents and Dumbledore's manipulations. Can't wait for more!

Seems interesting, but I don't think anyone would give up their child so they could give more attention to the famous one. It just doesn't seem like something that James and Lily would do.
