Reviews for Through The Years
Saissa chapter 21 . 10/21
THat would have been cute to see but heartbreaking to hear - your child tellign you "no sing, mummy."

Dont worry. I think I was around 7 or 8 and wanted to try out for the school choir. I had the choir teacher tell me to go over and sit with the boys - clearly I did not have a soprano or alto voice. I never bothered to go back and I have never sung out loud since. That was more than 40 years ago
Saissa chapter 17 . 10/21
Like you, I too only had one son. So no pink in this household either. In fact I LOVE being the only female in this family!
Saissa chapter 9 . 10/21
My son does not have a middle name because we spent pretty much most of the pregnancy looking for the first name and totally forgot about the middle name. But it's not that bad. He has both a hyphenated first name and also qualifies for the NMI designation! he he he
Saissa chapter 6 . 10/21
I fell in love with my spouse partly because he is of french ancestry and has a french surname, while my maiden name is a plain boring and common English name. I also fell in love with him for who he is, his wicked sense of humour and the many things we had in common. No need to worry - today is our 16th wedding anniversary and we are still very happily married. Anyway, I was quite eager to dump my boring english maiden name and switch to the exotic french name on the day we got married and I have never regretted it.

I never had much of a career under my maiden name anyway.

Decided to read this on a whim. So glad I did. Not only was the story perfect but the personal touches throughout the story and the little glimpse into your life at the end of each chapter made this perfect. I just got married, 3 months ago, and everything you wrote seems to be exactly what I want my future to hold. Thank you for writing this.
