Bilbo's pain, the flashbacks (which really emphasized the reality of the situation, and added a more noticeable sentimental vibe), the dwarves' reaction to Bilbo (love that you're adding the other more ignored characters, thank you!). Why do I have a feeling that Bilbo will be successful but *will* die? I'm already feeling nostalgic. Please update soon!

I always hated that Thorin and the boys had to die (I already dread the third film because of this). Your description of Bilbos feelings when Fili and Kili showed up was so wonderful. And exactly matched mine.
And this sweet scene with Bombur... I love Peter Jacksons dwarfs with their different looks and personalities. Most of them don't get the credit they deserve because not all of them are as handsome as Thorin and his nephews. But your Bilbo appreciates everyone of them and that is great.

Can't wait to see how Bilbo changes fate. Please let him be successful and Thorin become King under the mountain. - And maybe let Thorins and Bilbos friendship develop...

The way you describe psychological pain is wonderful, and those little flashback scenes (especially with Fili and Kili) were heartbreaking.

This is such a good and original story idea :) I loved the prologue and first chapter and I am eagerly awaiting the rest! I've read the hobbit and I felt so sad when I saw Thorin, Fili and Kili in the movie- it broke my heart knowing that they we going to die. I loved how you included Bilbo's flashbacks when he saw them- it really emphasized the reality of the situation for the reader and it allowed a deeper and more sentimental connection to be made to the story :) I can't wait to see what happens when Thorin shows up- yes I know I am only hurting myself by being a Bagginshield shipper, but it's so hard :( please update soon and keep up the good work! :)
