You always write so brilliantly! It's a really great start, you really capture Boromir's character and don't really change him from Tolkien's perspective. That is a real challenge and I respect anyone who can do it, 'cos certainly I have tried and failed most of the time.

It was confusing at first because her name changed, but its all good. I can't wait til the next chapter!

This is getting off to a great start! Very cool! Very much enjoyed the images of Boromir's awkward conversations with his almost-grandparents-in-law! My, I can just see the look on Celeborn's face as he takes Boromir to task for his ungentlemanly behaviour! I must say I am surprised that Galadriel seemed a bit nicer to poor Boromir than usual - but I suppose she's got some trick up her sleeve, probably just trying to look understanding for Eledwhen's benefit. GOOD use of elements from the original books, to make Boromir's journey both believable and creepy! Those yellow eyes - dare I assume that they're dear Gollum? And very creepy w/ the mysterious riders! The Redhorn Pass sequence was good too, in terms of working well with Boromir as we see him in the book. So, yes, very good - keep going!
