This story is fantastic! I love Mary writing in her diary and seeing her relationship with Matthew evolve. I would love to read more some day because it’s a great story.

In my headcanon, this is where Mary finally destroys the diary; she tells Matthew about the pregnancy; they elope and live happily ever after.
This was SUCH a good read and I'm sad you didn't finish it... but at least I get to make up my favourite ending I guess :)

“I ain’t too proud to beg, Sweet Darlin”. I reread this story about once a year and I always wonder how you’d planned to work it all out. In that time period, it’d be quite the scandal for Mary to be pregnant before marriage. But, how could they move the wedding date up 2 1/2 months without everyone knowing. I’ve said all this to get to the point of begging you to continue this amazing story. I, too, hated DA S4-6 but I’ve never fallen out of love with MM. So, pretty please?

Everytime I reread this I am more and more gutted that you never finished it! It really is amazing - the humour but also the romance and the odd touching moments. You're an amazing writer!

I only discovered this masterpiece last night, so I had the distinct pleasure of reading through all 29 chapters. I have never been this entertained in my whole life! I was either grinning like an idiot or breaking out in a fit of giggles! You have taken me on a wonderful journey, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude to you for sharing this with us. What a beautiful story. So light-hearted, ridiculously cute, incredibly funny, unapologetically sassy. But inspite of its light-hearted nature, you managed to capture the essence of Matthew and Mary so perfectly. Thank you for this. It has been 2 years since your last update. Needless to say, we await the next chapter... *fingers crossed, wishing and hoping...

I've just discovered this story yesterday and have read it through. It is absolutely brilliant . Truly. Mary is my favorite character on the show and your version is arguably the sharpest, funniest and most clever that I have come across.
This story is such a compelling read and it is absolutely hilarious! I am dying to find out what happens next. I understand that writers have real lives and probably much more important things to do than satisfy my curiosity, but won't you please consider finishing? Never mind how long it's been, don't let that put you off. I'm sure none of your faithful readers will mind once you've started writing again.
