It's decent but I think you missed the point of a time travel zombie story.
Nicely done how everyone got together on the secret, with their resources, they have a much better chance of keeping the light of civilization, unlike the other fics where it's just one student or teacher, even when going in debt, there's only so much they can do.

Problem is afterwards you focused on teenage relationships. Who cares? I'm glad that drama was resolved and everyone got together, but beyond that...
It's not funny nor particularly wholesome, as it would be if it was more about Alice, the dog, bromance...

Wish there was more on what books they saved, machines, last minute construction, how they studied actually useful professions for the post apocalypse world such as farming, various engineering, chemistry, crafting, medicine...
It would be interesting to read more about the Emperor too, and funny if Takashi was proclaimed the Chosen of Hachiman.

Sure, they could relatively easily clear the zombies, now that the government is not acting dumb like in canon, clearing the people is another issue.
There would be warlords, bandits, hostile foreign countries...
The ratio between decent people and scum would lean a bit more toward scum, the selfish and ruthless survivors and betrayers.
It would be a question of, do we allow these people inside our walls, or keep them out. Considering criminal rate would go from ~0.01% to ~10%, it might be better to go isolationist for a time, or be very selective of who they let in.

This was honestly a rather excellent fanfiction. Things seemed a little rushed with the last threeish chapters. It was a very turbulent, exciting, tense time in the story but felt rushed. There could have been more character interactions throughout the crisis. Including the very obvious conversation that everyone should have had about whether or not to have hisashi come around Komuro during the events of the last few chapters that i cant get super into detail of without spoilers. They could have argued out the pros, the cons, the possible catastrophic repurcussions of his presence etc etc and even though it seems obvious and the reader can make their own assumptions, it is something that should have been brought up in world, same as Himeko, Alices Dad, Rei’s dad, their other friends that died on day one at the school outbreak. There were so many people that could have been around that should have had conversations.

Thats the only real criticism i have and its not even bad. This story absolute rocked. It blew my expectations completely out of the water and i read through this as quickly as i could from the excitement.

Last thing. I wish all of us writers would do this; please go back and remove the authors notes that are no longer relevant. The ones talking about update schedules for example are no longer needed in any way. The ones mentioning other fics or mentioning the groups for HoTD are definitely still useful. You also dont need to put the disclaimer on every single chapter. First chapter, at the start, covers the entire work. Thats it.

Im going to go see if youve got any other works i want to read because, again, this fiction was just amazing. Truly wonderful and a pleasure to experience.
