Great at tear-jerking. Crap at story-telling.
| Shadowdog11 chapter 18 . 6/2
This story had me up and down with the directions you took it. I'm glad that last thing was only a head game. Instant favorite and I'll probably come back. I love this Harry for the most part. Sometimes you write contracting sections, where the same person is repeatedly told a secret and acts surprised both times. I also don't think Harry would've cared after the Burrow Christmas fight. Not this Harry. That said, good show!

I'm loving this story. I think you seem to have his interactions pretty well, except I think he'd be a bit more cautious/bitter regarding the "adults". Awesome story though

White Christmas get old? Blasphemer!
| Shadowdog11 chapter 5 . 6/1
That whole Minerva thing was a bit ridiculous. Also, you mentioned that only the unspeakable and Amelia knew about him several chapters ago I thought?
| Shadowdog11 chapter 2 . 6/1
Mixed feelings on the reactions from first chapter, but pushed through that roller coaster. He doesn't seem to have the anger as much in this story. It seems unlikely he would be willing to fight honestly. I mean, he quite literally gave up the fight... To fight when he came back? I love the premise though and you write the conversations well.

more on glass as a deadly weapon:
snopes debunks it as used for a poison. Shards large enough to do damage would be too heavy to hang in the air as dust, and they wouldn't do much if any damage if crushed fine enough to breathe.
Also consider that people breathe silica dust- essentially, powdered glass- for YEARS before suffering debilitating effects.
Were crushed or powdered glass so easily utilized as a killing weapon, it would have been commonly used in warfare thousands of years ago.
| RHJunior chapter 6 . 4/6
glass powdered small enough to breathe in like that would not be that viciously debilitating. It would be, in effect, SAND... horrid enough; they would be blinded... but highly unlikely to be killed. He would have had to have magically enhanced it in some fashion, making it hang in the air long enough to breathe, making the tiny bits enlarge into jagged shards-

I love this story. I can't tell if it's actually finished, but in not, please write more! If it is finished write more like it! Thank you for sharing your talent and vision!
