The writing is pretty stellar, not gonna lie, but the mc leaves much to be desired. I get trying to avoid the overpowered trope (it makes for a boring plot and a weak story) but making the mc this, dare I say, pathetic is no different. He is not ignorant, danger beyond measure looms in the distant future, the least he could do is put some obscene amount of effort into cultivating his chakra.

The mc is pathetic, weak, stupid and untalented. The attempt to avoid an overpowered mc went way too far.

Honorifics are usually done in lowercase. Kazekage, for example, would be Kazekage-sama, with a lowercase S. Sensei is the same, though it's usually used at the end of sentences too. It's not capitalized either, though, since it's basically the same as saying 'teacher.' "Alright, sensei!" is basically how you'd put it.

I'm, like, ninety-five percent certain that *any* of the names of the tailed-beasts are known to people, no? It goes by 'the Ichibi,' I'm pretty sure.

Really cool plot, I was confused at first with what gender the original oc identified as a little. The political wordbuilding is fantastic. I hope someday you continue or at least out the basic of what you did have planed for this story
