![]() ![]() ![]() What you're calling the "Bush Series" is spelled Busch, though it's pronounced the same as "bush." And Jeff Gordon was actually one of the favorites in these parts when he was actually racing. His association with Dale Earnhardt didn't hurt, either; that guy was THE favorite driver around here! ;D |
![]() ![]() ![]() "Learnt" actually IS a word, and is the accepted version of "learned" in the UK. In fact, it was even an accepted "alternate version" of "learned" in the US in the 1960s, when I was in school. "Learnt," "leapt" (instead of "leaped;" it was pronounced "lept"), and a few others were also spelled with t's ("spelt" being another one!). In the US, there was a spelling reform in the early 1970s that saw those "t" versions removed, as well as the doubling of Ls in some words, like traveled (used to be "travelled"), etc. Sorry if "learnt" bothers you, but it is indeed a perfectly legitimate word! (Some of those t-words bother me, too; never did like "leapt. ;D) |
![]() ![]() ![]() Considering the events in "When the Bough Breaks," as well as the fact that they've helped other troubled children and even young adults, I'm not at all surprised at the reaction of Shar and Lady Ako, and I can just imagine the chaos that would have been unleashed if the rest of the Fairgrove crew had gotten involved! |

![]() ![]() ![]() This the farthest I’ve ever made it in this story. If you had posted it as a crossover or at the very least mentioned at the top of the first chapter, I would have looked up the series and at least had some idea of what was going on. But since you wanted to trick people into reading it, I usually only manage to make it a few chapters before giving up. You should be up front about it being a crossover instead of hiding it for specious reasons. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Numbness down the left arm is not a good thing. Heart problem would be my 1st guess, especially considering Albus' age, and the amount of stress he's been under. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Loved it. Thank you for a great story. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So much fun to read, thank you! |
![]() ![]() So... she's been keeping fragile Harry in a hostile environment because of her own pettiness? Hmmm. Interesting story. Well done. Thanks |
![]() ![]() ![]() Phew, finally made it through this. By far the longest it has ever taken me to finish a sub 200k word story. I have read these in a weekend before; but, this took many months. Just a constant struggle to force myself to read despite the constant reference to your love of watching country bumpkins make hundreds of left turns an hour. Probably ahould have just moved onto a dofferent atory months ago; but, the aunk time falacy is real. At least your writting is good, if not the constant wish fulfilment writing. |
