So appropriate that I found this (and read it) the day before Thanksgiving. Great story; well written, with lots of emotion and heart. Definitely going to add it to my faves!

I love this. This is awesome. You know, I've just been waiting and waiting to come across a fic where Jamie's mum/mom starts believing (a centre-plot, not just an 'oh-by-the-way-convenience'-plot). Also, I like the idea that the guardians are also sort of angels. That makes a lot of sense.
And the Thanksgiving thing... the fact she was so nice to Jack is really sweet. And the way you made her believe sort of in stages, rather than 'he's-not-real-oh-my-mistake' kind of things you come across on here. It makes it more realistic. XD

Will and Joyce... Hmm...
Well, I guess Will would be will, your strenght of spirit, and from what I can see, Will the father had to have had an unsheakable will to be able to believe in Santa even as an adult.
Joyce... She was a bit harder. but maybe Joy? She certainly brought joy to Jack by believeing in him.

Other than that, I have to say I loved this story. I'm an atheist myself, but the presence of christianity didn't bother me in the least. You're pretty awesome to have made this little thing.

(Btw I did get the name thing :) nice. Will and Joyce...though first thing I thought of when I saw Will was William Evans from my FicPress thing, tbh. ._.)

I...I just can't get enough of this...I started reading this first thing in the morning because I found it last night and I was instantly woken up — my brain was moving and panicking and wondering what's gonna happen and that is exactly what I want in te morning because I'm not a morning person and require a little extra boost. And I was reading it while I was getting dressed, eating breakfast, brushing my teeth and I finished reading it at the bus stop.
I didn't get a chance to review until now but...wow. I was thinking about this literally all day.
Just...holy schist.
I love the h/c element, I love the sweetness and the poor lies that we can see right through, I love Jack healing Sophie and Jack being Jamie's Guardian angel, I just...WOW.
I especially love the Christian bits...it does give a special kind of depth to a story, doesn't it? And you're right...the fandom lacks it. See, though...I decided to make God part of the question in one of the later chapters of Children of Fear...and then Death the Younger happens to ask the question "If there's a God, and if there are Guardians, how could you let these things happen to me?" and me and Tooth who he's talking to are just like "You HAD to ask THAT ONE, really?"
Like that one where you know the answer but it's weird to put into words.
Jeez.

Great chapter. One of the best fanfics, especially one of the best Mrs. Bennett and Jack fanfics I have read. I always wanted those two a bit of bonding like a mother and son.
