| Bismark195 chapter 20 . 12/6/2014
AWWWW! Right in the feels. I love it so much. I read it through, then went back and watched the show from the beginning, pausing to read this story at the designated times. It made it so much better overall. Well done.
| moosejuice5 chapter 20 . 5/16/2014
Very nice, sad ending
| InsanityRunsInMyBlood chapter 20 . 4/15/2014
Tears down my fucking cheeks, I tell you.
How dare you do this.
Utter and inconsolable pain.
(which is my way of saying this is bloody brilliant, by the way...one of the very best merganas i've seen on this bloody website)
| wryter501 chapter 19 . 4/1/2014
i liked this chapter, in a sad, strange way. after your last, with morgana healed and agreeing to try to be a good person, anyway, i did wonder... but you've done a good job with morgana's pov during this time of imprisonment/torture to make her the person that returns in season 5... believing, mistakenly, that merlin and arthur's betrayal had led to her capture by the sarrum...
| wryter501 chapter 16 . 4/1/2014
this made me a little sad, that merlin sent aithusa to morgana... saving her life and giving her the means to create the blade that kills arthur... :(
| wryter501 chapter 13 . 4/1/2014
omg was that line of merlin's on purpose - this is really what you want? (referencing her nightmare of her death at emrys' hands, maybe?)
| wryter501 chapter 11 . 4/1/2014
you know, morgana was not some innocent bystander that merlin had to poison for arthur's sake... she'd already plotted against uther's life twice to merlin's knowledge... and how many opportunities did he give her to come clean about her part in the sleeping spell plot? she lied to him half a dozen times that ep. alone... her choices led to that outcome, not his... thank you for getting their distinctive thoughts and motivations so clear - usually people will take one side or the other for truth, instead of leaving it depending on the point of view...
| wryter501 chapter 10 . 4/1/2014
i was a little worried that staying in canon meant more heartbreak for merlin (falling in love with morgana only to have to kill her - well, eventually)... but a merlin that can distance his love from his lust is a darker, more mature merlin, i think...
| wryter501 chapter 7 . 3/31/2014
that one scene merlin confronts morgana in arthur's chamber when she's stealing his keys is one of my favorites... arthur's on the training ground, every day, same time, same place... and he gives her this little smile...
| Elaine du Lac chapter 13 . 11/11/2013
Love Morgana's Merthur mention. And Merlin's incredulous reaction!
| Elaine du Lac chapter 8 . 11/11/2013
Oh, my hear breaks remembering this episode too. The in-between gaps you filled with Mergana chemistry and romance made my heart break a hundred times over. Excuse me, I need to go off and cry in the corner. . .
| Guest chapter 20 . 11/8/2013
I read this story in one sitting, and while I enjoyed it so much all through chapter 19, the final chapter disappointed me a lot. Not because she died, I knew that was coming, but because how you handled the magic reveal, you dealt with it exactly the same way the show did, and the show butchered it completely, and this was one of the things I was looking forward to most, but you wrote no reaction at all on Morgana's part regarding Merlin's magic, all she talked about was Sarrum, nothing about how he could've helped her had he told her, so I'm sorry but that kind of ruined a very good story for me.
| AJsRandom chapter 14 . 10/18/2013
I find this chapter a rather fascinating bit of philosophical introspection that we just don't get from the episode. One can only fit so much in 44 minutes, after all!
Your idea of 2 different personalities and having to "act" one or the other is something I hadn't thought of before. I guess I see it more as putting on and taking off something, like a hat. Ooh look, I'm an idiot or ooh look at my phenomenal cosmic power (lol!)! Acting can imply falsity, pretending to be what you're not (I have a very tiny bit of experience at this) but both these personalities are actually him (to a certain extent). I think that's why no one notices the power and why others are shocked when it's revealed to them, because the only thing that's changed is their perception. He's still him. Make any sense? Sometimes I wax too philosophical, lol. :)

That was sexy, wonderful and sad. I rally liked the detailing of both pov's, and the explanation for Aithusa? I so needed that.
