I can tell by now this is a parody, since it seems, for some reason, Eowyn had a cell phone with her... not sure why, since Middle-earth wouldn't have cell phones, or telephones for that matter, back in the Third Age. And I'm sure Legolas would have known what you were telling him in italics.

So far, I already find your story, with the recipes... how shall I say it? Interesting?

Well, I'm not sure whether I should call this story a parody, since Eowyn's cooking in the movies were... well, you know what I mean. As for the hint, it came from "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End"; although, I'm sure Jack Sparrow (if this were a crossover) would tell Eowyn plain and simple what he thought of her cooking.

A thought came as I was reading this story. Why not have the hobbits change the recipe when Eowyn isn't looking? And yes, I mean all four hobbits. I probably was inspired by the movie "Ratatouille", after the thought came to mind, but maybe some inspiration will come from that thought. Let's hope so.

I hope you keep writing. I look forward (well, maybe not) to what else happens in this story.

I can see the tombstones now here lies _(fill in name)_, a brave _(man, elf, hob it, or dwarf)_ who survived the ring and all the evils of the war; only to die of food poisoning from a shield maiden's cooking.. May he rest in peace knowing that he'll never again have the need to eat...
