Mind blown! Read this in one sitting and off to read the sequel.
| Lana del Fae chapter 1 . 10/16/2017
The images in this fic are so cool... Shaw holding David's head like a kicked puppy with a bone, the entire concept of the Followers and the bloodthirsty Games that follow, the cruel culture of the Engineers. David & Shaw make quite the team. The best part of this story is the way that it reverses the horror of the Alien franchise: in your fic, there is a human loose on board an alien ship, and the aliens are horrified.
In terms of critique, it's kind of unclear how long the Games are going on, and how often Yeshua checks on Shaw? Apart from that, though, this is really good.

Should have never picked this story up before work... and now I want to sit at home all day and read it. Very good. Love the plot, love the action. Very impressive.

I just wanted to say that 'The Harvest' is a million times better a title than 'Ellipsis to the Gods' you horrendous hack.
The epilogue to this story is excellent, and your writing style is great.

This was a great read from start to finish! You are a very good writer!
Can't wait to see what happens next!
| Test Subject no. 23 chapter 16 . 3/23/2013
This chapter was intense! I felt dread for the first part of the chapter because I didn't think the loaders would be able to subdue the xeno long enough for ellie to kill it. I was sad when Kane died (but glad he intervened) and relieved when Ellie finnaly got to the relative safety of the pod.
So, yeah, very well done! :)
| Test Subject no. 23 chapter 15 . 3/15/2013
Excelent, as usual.
| kat chapter 15 . 3/14/2013
So we have a Queen, Baal’s foreshadowing came true. The setting of her nest is also really interesting.
No real break for our poor representation of humanity, what a misleading title ;). Well, it might have been one for David who knows.
Kane and Ellie slowly come to a point where they will be on the same page experience wise.
I can’t imagine how Elizabeth alone and only with David as company should work in a sequel. So much time to think and possibilities like survivor guilt, nightmares, depression, loneliness…
Actually I was wondering when her first blow up might happen and her getting rid of her built-up anger on a corpse XD. And she might only be denying her feelings to protect herself.
Well, she already soliloquizes...
So, let’s see if it is good or bad for her that she has something to do. I am curious to see how their adventure will continue. Thanks again for the fast updates.

The other side… there are of course many sides and situations that makes a person the way they are, however Kane in the chapter awakes so many feelings from schadenfreude through to pity. After all he is only a shadow of one's former self.
The part with David’s head was interesting, first the insult but oh it is a person and not a thing for him so of course he had to try and make Smalltalk XD.
Ellie provides a feeling of tension. She is so conflicted and it’s so fitting…
Kane and the Xeno somehow had such a surreal feeling, somehow cartoon like in the middle of the chapter…
However all good things come to an end.
Such an up and down combined with stress can’t be good for the baby. Poor Ellie again.

Chapter 15 XD.
It was really fun to read all three chapters in on go ;).
David really got to me in chapter 13. Have to say I would not be one to absolutely trust him. I mean who would trust a robot that prides oneself on being able to do things that are unethical -_-. Especially one that had already had his fingers in human experimentations…
Kane has really come along nicely. So he had already had a taste of his “stigma” in which it is impossible to be killed. However that it is as much a blessing as it is a curse he only feels in chapter 15…
Hm, without knowledge can there be contribution or redemption?
However there was that part at the beginning: chapter 2 & 5
He was already at the top so why that scene? Of course, he could see it as relaxing to drink himself in a stupor but that in front of his new team which of he has meet some for the first time…
It could be a show of trust, however if you get his age in the equitation. Even if it is said “that it is no age really”. Kane is the oldest of the crew…
He could get smashed because he has lost his chance at the Xeno and it was his own brutal action that stole his chance…
Connecting chapter 2s end and his part in chapter 5 there seems to be something missing…

I happily anticipate your next update! Also I hope that Elizabeth uses a tissue regenerator as well because there is no way she'll be able to kill to Xenomorphs quickly, even if the Engineer helps.
| Ellie-is-A-NoGo chapter 15 . 3/14/2013
This story is too suspenseful an I an enjoying every minute of it! Like the pervious reviewer before me I wonder if you would keep Kane? It would be a waste of talent to kill of such a strong character and I would personally think it would add more flare to the story. I wonder what's in store for next time!
| Joani chapter 15 . 3/14/2013
I confess, I keep wondering how much worse it can get for our protagoniste, and then you draw it out for another chapter. I also admire how you are willing and capable to do away with any character. Despite my uncertainty, I look forward to each chapter!
| FaeBreeze chapter 14 . 3/12/2013
For some reason I kind of want Kane to survive again… and ally with Elizabeth against the Xenomorph.
