sigh, perfect...and...you never know "wink"-true story-My Daddy died when I was almost 10...Met my now Husband when I was 15...AFTER we were married, we were talking about where we lived when we were little, and found out (his mom and mine both verified the deets) that my Daddy worked at the corner gas station (hubs lived on the same block as us, but on the other side) and he used to "fix" hubs bike...so what I am saying is, Daddy already met my hubs, way before I did...

Wonderful writing plot - just 5 mins of each year. Snippets of lives. Interesting and moving story to read.

Well, if your ultimate purpose was to help me remember how much I missed my Mom...mission accomplished! You accomplished this in a very interesting, beautiful way :) Fortunately I was a little older when I lost my Mom...but the pain and remembering still are here :/ But you helped me think of her smiling, playing games with me and just in general being the awesome Mom she was! THANK YOU...this was so beautifully written...you deserved 1st place!

That was an amazing story. The pain and loss leading to love and new life. I too like the idea that their moms somehow helped to bring them together. That over the years those annual visits weren't just about grieving their loss but also about getting to know each other and building something new together. And it looks like they have a little Renesmee on the way. :)
