Reviews for Harry Potter and the Four Heirs |

![]() ![]() ![]() Well I see Umbridge got what she deserved. |
![]() ![]() 'The lounge' - honestly? The lounge is in arports and the likes, loungewear are informal clothes like sweat shirts etc. Lounge chairs are found in spas or . I strongly suspect you mean the living room. Sincerely Bihi |
![]() ![]() ![]() But the elder wand is not still in the castle. This conversation happened well after the 30 minutes that the Heirs had given to Dumbledore to be gone from the grounds of Hogwarts along with his personal possessions. While Harry had already switched the allegiance of the elder wand to him, he had not taken possession of it. Now if Mr. Dumbledore had been forced to leave it behind when he departed, that is such a significant action, I am sure it would have been mentioned. While some stories have him using another, perhaps his original wand, throughout this story to date we see no evidence of any other wand. We did see Dumbledore concerned about his wand not behaving properly for him. |
![]() ![]() You contradict yourself. If electricity and electronics were only incompatible because of some bans on Hogwarts, he shouldn't have the problems with the batteries in London, at least not for the muggles. (I think mundane or non-magic people is at least as derogatary as witch or wizard or muggle.) So it either lies in local bans or is a general problem. You can't eat your cake and keep it. Sincerely, Bihi |
![]() ![]() ![]() While there were one or two minor story discrepancies and some grammatical errors, I greatly enjoyed reading this story. The creativity and the plots were well thought out; each chapter had me wondering what was going to happen next. Brilliant work! Thank you for taking the time and effort to write and share this! |
![]() ![]() ![]() Left arm not right arm |
![]() ![]() I have quite enjoyed this fanfic, thank you for writing it. For constructive criticism, I personally would have preferred it if there was more of an emotional pay off at the end. Some kind of slice of life, to show the happiness granted befitting the trials undertaken. I do enjoy the political aspect, it is certainly a different take on the harry potter fanfic line than most go down, and it was quite interesting. I do think that there were some times in which the progression felt a little off, Dumbledore remaining as the headmaster, and clearly not learning his lesson surprised me. I would have figured that a man as cunning as to set everything up would have to be adaptable in his own right. That being said, I once again would like to state that I greatly have enjoyed reading this fic, and thank you for giving Miss Augusta Longbottom her day in the light. All the best. LRC |
![]() ![]() ![]() I think there is a mistake here: "I…" said Augusta a little surprised at the request. "I would be deeply honoured, Lord Potter." "Yeah, for me, too!" said Hermione. "I wouldn't know who to pick." "You'll need to find one for me, too, Gran," said Neville. "Errr… Grandmother." "Ummm… What's a Proxy?" asked Hermione. :It would make sence if the first Hermione sentence was Susan's as it just don't seem right that she seems to know then don't seems to know what a proxy is and it's strange that Susan don't get a line but Hermione get two. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Okay I’m confused. Lese majesty isn’t a crime in the UK. Hasn’t been for at least a few hundred years. And the queen definitely could never have someone arbitrarily jailed. What’s Fudge going to prison for? He was an asshole, the text says, but Umbridge is the one who committed a crime. If Fudge committed a crime, he’d have to have a trial just like everyone else. He can’t just be given a life sentence because one of his subordinates tried to kill her. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wait what? Why would five hundred children have their magic bound? If the only school is unacceptable, the government would be required to provide an alternative. You can’t invoke penalties because of a fuckup that you allowed, that’d be insane. No one could get away with that, not ALL the kids. |
![]() ![]() ![]() “ "I think her father might have something to say about that," sighed Harry, still with a bit of a rasp. “ But Dan has said the same thing to him several times now. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Wait, why can they immediately arrest Bagnold and Crouch, but not Dumbledore? |
![]() ![]() ![]() Why should they think the word “muggle” is insulting? It’s just the word used to refer to a non-magical person. Words aren’t self-evidently insulting, they become insulting through use. Likewise a word can cease to be insulting through use. Egregious used to mean something was very good. Now it means something is very bad. Muggle is only an insult if it’s used as an insult. And I don’t just mean spoken with contempt. You can sneer and say anything and it becomes an insult. |
![]() ![]() ![]() So… why did the queen keep shouting in surprise? Once it’s been established that the Ministry is doing chicanery, why should she be so freaked out that they’re … doing chicanery? At a certain point you’d figure she’d expect it. Why should it be a surprise to her that they’re making their own laws and ignoring the process once it’s already been established that they were doing that in other areas? |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love how Elizabeth calls Bill out fir the disgrace he is when it comes to womanizing and philandering ways. And I really hate how I am related to that shit by adoption since my five times great-grandmother was a Clinton by birth. And I am also distant cousins with the royal family and in both cases, the relations are thrown my mother's side of the family. And I remember my grandmother throwing a real stink when she heard that Bill was elected to office. Calling him a disgrace to the family. |
