I agree with you! In both the book and the movie,
Edward never truly spoke as if he were from another
era. It was one of the incongruities in the work.

Is Raquel part of a shape shifting tribe?!
Is she going to meet Jacob and imprint?!

So, Mom and DaddyC couldn't wait to meet Bella!

I get the feeling that Renee died a horrible death,
with Bella as witness, and her father either played
a part, or was a horrific version of a helicopter
parent afterward.

This looks interesting. However is she going to cope
with a genuine attraction toward a kid?! He may be
107 years old, but he is still an adolescent bodily.

We use "carajo" "diantres" "demonios" "chingados" for that phrase...

"coño" is more used in Spain or Caribbean countries

I had been expecting Edward's plan-to-not-exist after Bella died to pop up somewhere, but it makes sense that he didn't want to emotionally blackmail Bella.
So she got everything out of the way. Nobody will look for her or try to communicate to her now.
