I like more mature Bella stories. I'm not fond of the teacher-student relationship side of this one, even with Edward being a vampire - unneeded complications. I'm willing to try this story out for at least a few chapters. It is a good and interesting start. Thank you for the heads up about added family members. Sometimes one of more confusing parts of AU stories can be figuring out if characters are same, similar, different and what relationship is between new and old characters. UA is where I got one of my degrees. A little foreshadowing of what she wants to do for real with the interest in local folklore?

I was confused for a moment by the German chapter title. If you plan on using more like that, let me know if I can help. I'm fluent. I'm not certain that Ein Neuer Lauf can be translated to a new chapter. Lauf is usually translated as 'run', whether that's a physical run or playing a new record/track etc.

Anyway, I like this. Am I right to assume that Bella will be Edward's singer? And wow, she's a lot older physically than he is. Also, he'll be her student. I'm sure that'll go over well, huh? Then again, since she is older, she won't be as intimidated by him, I can imagine. Let's see where you'll take this. Nicely done, hooking me already. :)

I just wanted to start by saying that I have been reading The Eyes Of The Moon but because I started it while I was sick, I haven't had a chance to review it yet. Thank you for translating that into English. My French is awful and it is such a beautiful story, I would hate to have missed it because of the language barrier. I saw that you had started this new fic and thought this would be perfect to begin with as I wasn't already starting tens of chapters behind.

I have to admit, when I saw that you had started a new fic, I assumed that it would be an AU. I know that might not be the case, we don't have all of the details just yet, but I am hoping it will be. I love Vampire Edward and in my opinion, there aren't enough AU fics out there. I am so excited to see where you are going to take this.

I know you started by saying that you thought this had been done before, but if you are taking it in the direction that I think you are, this is my first teacher Bella/vampire-student Edward. I think that my favourite type of AH fic is the student/teacher fics and to combine that with the vampire element has me bubbling with excitement.

I love how you are introducing new twists on the cannon stories we are used to. I have found that some of the very best fics introduce new characters that we haven't ever met before and I think that is because we have no expectations for them. I wonder what we will learn about Raquel and how big of a role she will play in Bella's life.

I am curious about what Bella has discovered is her true passion in life that isn't teaching English at high school. She is keeping that close to her chest but she said it was because of Raquel and she is a rather artistic type, so maybe it will be something artistic. Maybe Edward will be the one to bring it out of her?

I thought it was amazing how you got the Cullens into the story before Bella actually came to meet them. At least now she has some kind of expectations for when they come face-to-face but I am sure that she will still be stunned in Edward's presence. I will admit that the idea that Coach Clapp hung that article on the wall of the teacher's lounge because of Mrs Cope's attention towards them made me laugh.

I cannot wait to see how things unfold between Edward and Bella. We know that Bella isn't interested in younger men, she has not only stated that already, but we saw that when she met Justin Stanley. Will she be drawn to Edward because of their mate bond? Will she try and fight her feelings for him? Will she know, deep down that he isn't the seventeen-year-old he is pretending to be? Or will Edward be the first to make a move? Will he have to assure Bella that she isn't a bad person for being drawn to him because he isn't who she thinks he is?

I don't think I have been this excited over a new fic since The Keepsake started.

Something very suspicious about the abrupt departure of Mr. Berty-as if SOMEONE had foreknowledge of Bella's arrival and set up the one thing that would make him leave? Hmmm.
