I'm still gonna read Connubial Catalyst, but I wanna read all the one-shots before I get trapped by that awesomeness
| moyrani chapter 1 . 4/22/2013

Just... wonderful... what a great one-shot!
| NumbistheNewHigh chapter 1 . 3/1/2013
Aw, this was sweet and funny, Marisol. I really enjoyed it. Just think, I the future Sheldon will be a man who is in fact a MAN for lack of better ways to say it. He will be a husband and a dad and he will be able to be that and it's just great.
I (of course) enjoyed the mention of my buddy H. C. Andersen. I love folktales. And I'm sure, if there had been better possibilities for hygiene in Denmark back then, Andersen would have been pro frequent hand washer in his stories. Dude was a bit crazy too...
It is hard to figure out just how much or how little children can handle. I remember while I was au pairing in Switzerland that "my" 5-year old's favorite book was "Der Struwwelpeter" (it more or less translates to "The sloppy Peter"). Struwwelpeter is, as far as I remember, a parenting book with a series of stories about children who misbehave and are punished in the worst of ways. I think there was this one story where I boy didn't want to eat his dinner and he ended up starving to death and story about a girl who played with fire and ended up burning to death. Great stuff for a 5-year old! (Yay for parenting European style. All is gore here!) The parents didn't mind her having the book read, I must add. It was the mother's old book and she herself had it read when she was a kid. No but what I was getting at is that as long as children are explain what is going on they can handle things like that. My baby was very calm and understanding about the book at least and she knew it was fiction and that's very important to remember. I have only read one of the HP books but it doesn't strike me as that bad compare to old fairy tales like you mentioned. Personally I find the easy access to violent video games and XXX films far more worrying than children reading fantasy but that's just me. ;)
Once again I get off track. Sorry. I think you did well with showing Sheldon and Amy as a normal family. And once again I just love that you do not need to do anything over-the-top to get your point across. The fact that Sheldon is comfortable being naked in front of Amy says so much.
I loved this line:
"I just get a kick out of watching them grow back. Helps break up the day."
because it is just Amy in all her greatness.
All in all, I'm just really happy that you haven't left Sheldon and Amy behind. I worried for a second. :P

| Musickat18 chapter 1 . 2/28/2013
Love it. The return of the twins (!) who are now 10 (!?). Snuggly time with Sheldon and Amy. Love this little peak into their lives beyond TCC.
I'd add more but I"m ill and a bit fuzzy headed today. This was a nice break away though. :)
| Misophonia chapter 1 . 2/28/2013
So sweet. I loved this.

I started crying when Sheldon was reading them the book. That's what I wanted to do with my kids (if I'd have kids) someday. Read them the book before bedtime. :')
Sheldon being comfortable walking naked around Amy. Well ain't that somethin'.
Him watching a movie with her. Waiting for her. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HHHHHHHHHH! *cue uncontrollable shaking*
THEY ARE EATING PLANTERS MIXED NUTS. MIXED NUTS! :bawl:
Then we get to the last part:
"Right." She turns back to the tablet, and then snuggles in closer to his body, leaning her head against his shoulder. She reaches down and takes his hand in hers. She can feel her heart calm as his fingers curl around hers and, with his free hand, he reaches into the tin and pops a handful of nuts in his mouth.
FLUFFFFFFFY FLUFFY FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF FLUFF FLUFFFFFFFF!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH THANK YOU MARI HOW CAN I EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE THIS... THIS IS TOO MUCH.
*BAWLS FOR THE PERFECTION BECAUSE IT'S ADITI AND ROBERT AND SHAMY AND AND AND IT HAS HP AND THEN IT HAS FLUFF AND... GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!*

I love stories showing the lives of Shamy when they are married. This was amazing and very sweet. I wish you could write more about their married, content lives together. Thank you again for a great story!
| Lionne6 chapter 1 . 2/28/2013
I love sweet looks into their life like this, and this was just brilliantly and sweetly written. I loved it - how could I not? MIXED NUTS!

Thank you for such a lovely follow up on the events of The Connubial Catalyst. It makes me so happy to think of Robert and Aditi as ten year old children and to see that Sheldon and Amy are still so close and in love :)
