One of my favourite things about this story is your take on Loki, and especially your take on Jotun!Loki. I've never seen someone differentiate the forms in any manner but aesthetically, yet you've managed to probe deeper and intrigued me all the while. It's incredible to think about Loki's Asgardian form actually changing his physiology in more than just skin-tone and eye colour. And wowza, the whole food preference and the explanation for why Laufey fell for his tricks (and seriously, that stupidity was something I'd wondered about when I saw "Thor")... Your mind is incredible to come up with this, and I absolutely adored your take on magic. I'm not sure if you've ever read the "Celestine Prophecy", but when you spoke of coincidences my mind went back to that. It's not really all that similar, but the thought that magic exists and is just a manner of manipulating energy is something I... actually believe, funny though that may be. So yes, loved it! You even dragged a couple of tears out when Tony shot Loki, and that poem was a moment of, "Daaayum!" if ever I read one.

I really want an apparition of SHIELD again...

For now, I like the story. I'll have to read the rest to see what I think.

I LOVE this story! You are an amazing writer and I can't wait for more of your work. I have hardly eaten or slept since I started reading this story. So, so fabulous!

17 questions are awsome and make me laugh so much
| MomotsukiNezumi chapter 10 . 10/23/2013
Thor, you pig-headed moron, why, by the Norns, did you DO that!? Seriously, flying off the handle, not listening to reason, almost killing the brother you've repeatedly said you want to protect...and you cheated, too. Loki actually beat you, within the rules of the fight too, and you INSULT HIS MAGIC, CALL HIM A COWARD, AND STRIKE HIM WITH LIGHTENING. WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!?
At least Tony's got some sense. Hopefully things will get better...
| MomotsukiNezumi chapter 3 . 10/22/2013
The list at the end is glorious. I love how cuddling is a proper treatment to realign energy balances 9the fact that this involved various states of undress is an additional bonus.). The fact that the people of Asgard are now "a living, breathing Japanese cartoon" made me laugh like a maniac XD

This is an awesome story! I absolutely loved the Loki/Tony relationship, how they came to be 'together', how they interacted, how I got to see Loki through Tony's eyes and hear his mental commentary on everything...which was funny and sarcastic and just cool!
Your depiction of Loki was also brilliant. He was powerful and bad ass and scheming and manipulative and just awesome. But he also had his limits, couldn't just wave his hand or snap his fingers and *poof* make things work or be different or whatever. That made everything feel more real, more...gritty in a way. The obstacles were real obstacles and required the characters to think and take risks to overcome them.
Also, your explanation of how Loki's magic works, and how he needs to re-balance it and stuff...that was really interesting! I've never come across anything like that before, and I loved the novelty of it. I still don't quite get the connection between re-balancing energy and having sex, but I'm certainly not complaining. :-) Oh, and that whole explanation of how 'magic' to humans is like human-like critical thinking, culture etc is to lower animals. That idea was really cool. It went very well with those moments when Tony really, fully realized that Loki was not just not human but he was a god, and what that meant exactly.
The plot was, just like everything else, brilliant. It was twisty and unpredictable and exciting. You had fast-paced, exhilerating scenes that got my blood pumping but also slow, even sweet scenes, scenes full of action and scenes focusing on the characters and character development/exploration. That made the whole story well-rounded and nicely balanced, so I never got tired or worn out by too much of one aspect or the other.
The writing quality was also superb. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, all those technical things were good, which is really important to me. I hate it when something like that pulls me out of the story, thereby making me aware that it's nothing but words on my computer screen. But that never once happened here, so I got to stay immersed in the world you were bringing to life.
The characters also all had their own unique voice. Obviously, Tony's was very prominent, since the whole thing is written from his point of view and we get to 'hear' his thoughts and impressions and so on. But also in terms of dialogue: Tony spoke differently than Loki or Thor or Bruce etc. They all used different words and cadence, but they also acted differently, so little things like Bruce rubbing his eyes or Loki looking at something out of the corner of his eyes were always there and helping to make each character unique and distinguishable from all the others.
There isn't a single thing I can think of that I could say was 'wrong' with this fic. And I love that! This is an all around amazing story and I had a great time devouring it. (Btw, I loved the length, too. The longer the better.) And I am super glad to hear you mentioning a sequel. I can't wait to read that, to see what happens next. What will Tony get up to? I'm kinda assuming he (and Bruce) will manage to build their own space hole. But what then? I'm thinking they - or at least Tony - will go to Asgard. But how will Asgard react to having a mortal (!) come to their realm? And what will he do once he's there? If Loki is imprisoned he might be able to visit him, but I can't really see Tony being content with just that, and I also can't see Odin or whoever letting Loki out just because a puny little mortal asks him to. If Tony can even make a good argument why Loki shouldn't be punished for his actions. Unless his punishment is already over? Or he wasn't even punished? Or...yeah, so many things that could happen! And I'm sure things will happen that I would never expect. That's what happened in this story, after all. Also, it just occurred to me, that if Tony traveled to Asgard he'd be kinda stuck there, right? Since they haven't repaired the Bifrost yet... Hmm.
Well, one thing's for sure: I can't wait to find out what happens next!

I look forward being in October yet it'll be when I go back to school... This chapter was SO frustrating ! I was so sure we'd see Loki pop up at the end of it or that we'd see Tony go to Asgard. But no, nothing. Just hope that in the prequel Tony will manage to find him.
Thanks for having wrote (is that even correct ?) this story, it is one of my favorites.

Oh where to begin... this was easily not only the best fanfiction that I've found for The Avengers, but also one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Not many fan stories have this kind of depth and thought put into their work. Anyone can write 140k words of crap, but you put in a lot of thought and character. Their personalities were spot on. I don't think I've ever read such a perfect Stark, or a Loki for that matter. I've spent a week reading this story, and I'm sad to see it go, but I'd be lying if I sad I was left unsatisfied. The cliffy made me want to throw my tablet through a wall, but it definitely made me want to remember your name so I can look for a Part Two.
If you are seriously considering, (or are already in the making of) a sequel then you have my full support. I'm a loyal fan for sure :)!
You're a great writer. It's stories like this that remind me that there isn't 'just' 300 words of crap everywhere I look.
I don't mean to sound all deep and adoring, but damn you deserve it! It isn't every day I get to read even a good book, let alone something good written by a fan on the Internet.
To show my love for this story, I would like to say that I am a beta reader. If you ever want a second opinion then please pm me. I'm online often and I'd love to help.

Definitively would love to see a sequel - the plot has been awesomely complex and entertaining :D

What was Thor thinking? He knew that Loki touching Tony was bad, and yet he still chained them together. Perhaps he should have let Tony go get the Tessaract after all...Unless he wanted them to F like bunnies?

oh oh oh my god please I can't wait for the sequel... I absolutely loved your story, had me laughing a lot and loving Tony and Loki and right now I'm just dying to read the end.
