Guest chapter 1 . 7/17/2013
So good! I don't think anyone got passed Allison Trying to kill Derek and his pack to realize that Allison spent a large amount of her time stuck in a house that had Gerard in it. The things he might have done to her psychologically are never talked about. Between her mom, Kate, and Gerard its no wonder she snapped a bit at the end of season 2. They all trained her and used her as their weapon like matt did to Jackson but Allison either pulled back or someone helped her to.

hiii okay i'm so sorry i know i said i'd review this ages ago and i'm only just getting around to it BUT it is 3:30 in the morning and i'm on spring break so i figured it was finally time to do this and also i miss you oh man it is SO BORING around here i don't know if i can handle another week :(

but okay okay let's talk about this masterpiece of a story right here because holy crap hope hOW DO YOU WRITE I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT like your writing is so pretty but it's not that floaty, dreamy type of pretty with a lot of metaphors; instead it's very straight and to-the-point and no words go to waste and i guess the simplicity of it is what makes it pretty because like, you just cut straight to the heart of the issues, of the plot and especially of the characters, and it just leaves the story completely open and raw and beautiful and yeah BASICALLY WHERE I'M GOING WITH THIS IS THAT I LOVE YOUR WRITING AND ALWAYS WILL

and then the characters like god how do you do this characterization thing because you just /get/ them (and i guess part of it is just because you love them as obviously when you love a character you understand them better bUT STILL THE FACT THAT YOU ACTUALLY ARE ABLE TO WRITE ALL THE UNDERSTANDING OUT IS MAGNIFICENT IN AND OF ITSELF) and like with allison, i mean, obviously i know you adore her, but you don't pull any punches and you don't try to romanticize or glorify her or put her on any sort of pedastal, you just get to the heart of who she is and she is so so so beyond breathtakingly beautiful here. she is broken and hurting but she's strong and she knows it but she's still a kid who lost her mom and was abused and manipulated, and she knows that, too, and it's just so gorgeous how all of that is wrapped up in her character and woven into every single thing she thinks and says and does in this story, and that's not even getting into the beauty of how she relates to jackson.

and jackson jACKSON WOW I AM SO MAD THAT WE'RE NOT GETTING ANY MORE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FOR HIM? LIKE SERIOUSLY THERE WAS SO MUCH MORE TO TELL, SO MUCH MORE FOR HIM TO LEARN AND GROW FROM, SO MUCH MORE TO DO :( on the bright side at least i have your writing to capture him and god i just loved him here because he's actually completely in character, but a little different on account of the effect that everything in s2 had on him, and you can tell that while he still puts up an asshole facade, he's even more broken now that he's back in control of his body, and you can just tell that he's having so much trouble getting back into the swing of things because he can't really talk to anyone in the pack about the way he was used and controlled and manipulated over and over and he doesn't have many friends and obviously he can't tell danny anything even if he would understand but then there's allison and even though he still doesn't want her or anyone to see beneath his mask he's able to talk to her and she can understand and he knows she helped him for a reason and just god damn it's just really sweet and beautiful how these two kids are so lost in this war and everything that's happened to them but they still manage to find each other and understand each other and i just wow like honestly this is amazing!

basically i love you and i hope you're having fun and keep writing!

Oh, this was wonderful. I ship these two pretty hard and you just did an excellent job with this. Everything was very IC and just amazingly well written. Great work!
