Short and sweet, but really well written. It's a sad scene indeed, but I like the aftermath in this.

Even as short and not-so-sweet as this was, you still managed to craft a wonderful piece. I have to say, one line stuck out to me in particular: "It was almost as if an angel had chosen to cut her wings with her own blade." Beautiful and haunting- well done :)

By the way, was the tagline for the story a reference to the song Circle by Flyleaf? I know that's a somewhat common saying, but I couldn't help thinking of that song when I read it.

Speaking of the map where you get her, it has yet to come out. According to the recent Spotpass updates on Serenesforest, the map where you recruit Walhart came out today. My guess is that the one with Emmeryn in it will probably be released in two weeks (since the map where you recruit Gangrel came out two weeks ago).

Ooh...Emmeryn's suicide was a pretty iconic moment in FE13, from what I understand, and you've managed to convey its emotional impact to this reader, at least. ;_;
