I did indeed read the story first and I agree with Christine...I prefer happy endings!

I adore Erik's interactions with Nadir and Christine...I also loved how he handled the "prince" (who is not very princely!)

However is she going to take the news of what the "prince" actually asked Erik. Would he be able to do anything to Christine if she was Erik's wife? Would the Shah?

I loved the Leroux quote that Nadir shared with Erik since Erik said it in the book. I hope Christine ends up coaxing Ayesha as her companion in the feline category. Though it is obvious that the sleeping tiger adores her already!
