I was about to stop reading the story till you posted that when it start. Just a suggestion, a little love between main characters some where around 25% is good. It keeps the interest of people looking for pairing.

Well good fic till I have read. But almost halfway its still not harry ginny fic and that is what I hate as I looked at this one in a bloody community that says its all HPGW. Dont think they even know what pairing is supposed to do. Have also seen similar fics that have HG in the end only. Even though I liked yours and the other one they are still incorrectly classified and waste readers time as he is usually looking for something to else. But that not your fault is'nt it. But your summary too say HG and again I wonder if author doesnt understand what it constitute

This has jumped ahead far too quickly for my liking in terms of timeline. I feel like too much has been skipped for no reason. I also don't like the Flamels. Their decision to keep a boy in desperate need of some normality from associating with other children by not allowing him to attend school is borderline negligent, regardless of their feelings on Dumbledore. Why not send Harry to another school if Hogwarts is the issue in particular? Harry's emotional well-being and ability to socialise will suffer greatly from this. As a former teacher, I have seen it happen firsthand in the past. It is not necessarily the homeschooling that will cause issues, but simply the lack of thought given to a boy who suffered awful abuse for a full decade.

Re-reading...It just shows what a terrible headmaster ole Dumbles is. Honestly, not caring about his charges. But the Board is just as bad to keep him, aren't they?

I have really enjoyed reading this story. I like the introduction of the Flamel’s as caregivers. I like how he was home school and taught a lot of complex magic. He passed his NEWTS very early then spent a year in Japan to boot. What I dislike is that even after being trained as a “weapon” and endless hours of training from so many, he still fights like an average wizard. He can control fiendfyre for goodness sake yet he can’t use any of his specialized training to outdo Death Eaters. It’s really disappointing that he most likely won’t use his katana until the last great battle. I’ve read stories that repeat the same epic showdown scenario. I wish more authors would incorporate his battle proficiency from the get go it would only make the story more exciting.

I hope Dumbledore isn’t manipulative here. So where does Ginny come into play? And Dumbledore could always call the Muggle police and get the Dursley’s arrested. Why did he just leave?

Ooohhh... now I really hope Dumbledore suffers a lot before he dies. Why did they both have to die? And without contacting anyone? The Order used patronus to communicate, why didn't they use one? They could have received reinforcements and survived, at least Sirius and Remus. He already killed them Jk, why did you kill them too?

How is it possible for Harry to be defenseless simply by Voldemort's presence when he has the highest possible occlumency shields? And for Voldemort to use his connection to locate him? If he can't get in! In fact, that's why Harry also has no dreams about what Voldemort is experiencing.

By the way, I never liked Dumbledore, I always considered him a manipulator, and I really like that you exploited that side of him. Not so much that he's always winning, to the detriment of Harry and his loved ones, so I hope you're setting him up for a punishment commensurate with his crimes.

If so well hidden and protected, so untraceable were the Flamels, how did Voldemort in spirit or Wormtail in body find out where they live? Only Dumbledore knew where they were. Did he also give that information to Wormtail and the location of the Flamel house for Voldemort to resurface?

I'm liking your story, although what I don't like is how Ginny is doing in it. I know you've said you're pro HarryGinny, even though he's fallen in love with someone else, with whom he's going to last longer than Cho Chang, but that they block Ginny's mind and won't therefore buy her a new wand preventing her true magical development, as well as feeding her isolation. All of that will not contribute to her maturing as she did in canon and ending up being the kind of girl that is perfect for Harry, as well as Harry perfect for her. Plus she will suffer greatly without deserving it. JK was unfair enough to her, even more so in the movies, but to also be so much in a fanfic where you say you love the character is just as bad.
