kind of find it appalling that you compared Dumbledore to Batman as much as I can say that you may have a point at least Batman is pretty much a hero through and through mind the messed up stuff that tends to happen in his life as a superhero, can't really say much about Dumbledore though consider the guy a bit senile if not more so controlling
