i want to cry. this has been such an awesome journey. thank you so so much for sharing. i'm actually glad you're ending it this way. some stories are just perfect as is. not that i'm opposed to a sequel (which i'd be totally in for), what i'm saying is.. this story has been more than enough. it's been epic. the charactarization and plot development were on point. and saying all that, i hope that rests the question you have about doing klaroline justice. :)
really hoping you'd write more klaus and caroline stories soon.

That was wonderful. What a great journey this fic has been for both Klaus and Caroline, I really enjoyed your examination of how they changed each other. What a wonderfully mature Caroline you wrote, how strong and brave she was, I am in awe. And Klaus, I've rarely seen him written with this depth, he was so manipulative and self-aware and (rightly) in awe of Caroline, eeeee. It had it all, really: tension and action and friendship and hilarity and hotness and made me sigh a lot from feels. I wasn't expecting this chapter to come so quickly after the last, and while it is bittersweet that it's over now, I loved the conclusion. And oh, that lovely epilogue! Romantic and fierce at the same time. Loved it.

Wow, I can't believe this is over. I'm really sad because I know that I'll miss it and that no matter how many times I'll re-read it it will never be enough, but I'm also happy because I loved the journey you had Klaus and Caroline go through, I loved how passionate and in character but also romantic and original they were with every line and every action. I might be crying a bit right now but that's a good sign, I promise. Thank you for writing this and sharing it with us. You had us go through a little journey as well.
