enjoyed reading this update, find this story very interesting, different to anything else I've read in this fandom

Was. This is really wonderful. I love how we see and hear through Tony's eyes. There is so much about this story I love, both as a Tiva fan and a "landsman". Thank you for all of your complex amazing stories. I am rereading A Village Life right now - I miss my favorite duo so much. I miss their interactions, their facial expressions with each other, the joy of having a truly unique female strong ethnic character showing up weekly on NCIS and the away she and Tony meshed despite their differences and their similarities. You have tackled a difficult subject matter

This has to be one of the most intelligent storylines I've ever had the pleasure to read. You make us think of Ziva's past and history with dedication and reserve. She's lived a very dangerous life, but also a complex history of her Jewish life and family. Tony is just not along for the ride. He is there with her and finding out more and more of what makes Ziva tick. Ziva shows how she embraces her heritage and how difficult and meaningful her life was in the past and well as her future, whether it will be with Tony or not. She's a central figuire in many lives in Jeresulem and sharing is hard for her. But Ziva allows just that little window to her life to be opened inch by inch by talking with Tony and Tony appreciates what he"s learing of her life as well as how his life will fit in with hers. I'm so impressed of the land and language you use to illustrate her life. I'm jealous. hehehe :D More.

Always a happy treat to see this story updated! You have such a knack for crafting entire, complete "worlds" in your stories. I really enjoyed the look into Ziva's past that this chapter provided; it will definitely get some re-reads as I await the next installment. :)

I'm so glad that you're keeping up with this. There are so few casefics out there, even less that have obviously been thought through, and even *less* that have such rich and interesting pieces of Ziva's history thrown in. This is a rare gem.

There is something fascinating about this story, about the way you write... I can't lay my finger on what is it exactly but I really really like it. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Finally. Yay! What a lovely way to start the weekend.
This is all fabulously perfect. Shmeil getting through to Tony, or trying to, was just what we needed. He can't be objective when it comes to Ziva, so he neede someone else to tell him the things she'd been trying to. And she's back, safe and sound if a little bruised. She's shaken and fragile and altogether jumpy and evasive and sad and mourning, but she doesn't know how to show it or ask for help.
Such brilliance. I love this. Brava brava brava! XOXOXOXOXO I am so excited for more
