| Cor Strike FX chapter 11 . 2/19
Even if Ukyo knew about Nabiki's Raven powers, she couldn't have won.
| Byakugan789 chapter 11 . 2/13
Nabiki you idiot! Nodoka would love it. She'd wand a threesome marriage, even still! Better to convince her to kill the panda and be done with it. Besides, the honor of both contracts and their validity as legal documents was voided as soon as Genma made one without consulting the other families already involved. IE, the moment he made the contract with Konji.
| Byakugan789 chapter 10 . 2/12
Interesting way to deal with the situation. Different from most ive read, very much direct. I wonder if she's still going to try and add Xian Pu to Ranma's entourage, Dual marriage between Ranma Nabiki and Xian? It's not actually against the law in Japan, i checked while i was there, it just has to be marked in each of the family registrars as all families agreed. Pretty uncommon thing in the last century though.
| Guest chapter 11 . 2/10
Ranma should have yelled "DAMN IT"
| Byakugan789 chapter 7 . 2/12
No offense, but doing it the same way as last time? You've changed something rather MAJOR in adding ranma. More would have changed than her running off a day or so sooner. Jmo, sure, but still felt forced. And why in the world wouldn't they track her down after raven brought up that she's a target of discrimination rather than seriously out of control?

I decided to look up Star & Raven in Japanese which got me
English Star...Japanese Hoshi & English Raven...Japanese Karasu
so you saying
English Star...Japanese Star & English Raven...Japanese Raven
| Byakugan789 chapter 5 . 2/10
Umm... you haven't brought back starfire yet, so no, your work isn't done.
| Byakugan789 chapter 3 . 2/10
So, i've been trying to figure out where Ranma's power level is in your story. Please bear with me for a moment.
When first coming to Nerima with Ranma and his father were capable of jumping 30 feet with ease, and descend at speeds that were ridiculously slow. Theoretically this is because they were abusing Newtonian physics and bounding back up into the air by taking advantage of each others strikes, but I've taken several advanced placement physics courses in college and know how that isn't possible. Regardless it suggests strength on the level of starfire or higher. Certainly whole orders of magnitude better than Robins.
We're well past the point of the chestnuts episode with Happosai being here so that also means Ranma's fast, capable of putting through a hundred punches in the space of 'a single punch' so about .2 seconds. That's hyper sonic speeds. Assume he only has the barest efficiency with applying that to the rest of his body, as shown by him supposedly blurring around most battlefields, he's still moving faster than any of the titans save the kid flash.
Also, with happosai here that means were past the Shishi-hokudan/moko-takabisha arc, and the Hiryu shouten Ha meaning that He can create Whirlwinds, generate icy temperatures or ignition level heat and throw around energy blasts like confetti. All in all this puts him on the level of a furious starfire with perhaps a few advantages, but the disadvantage of being only able to float rather than fly.
Add to that you're trying to give him the cat fist and, while he won't use them for some sort of honor problem he's also go Ryoga's Iron cloth, Bakusai Tenktesu and Kuno's energy blade.
The big loss for him at this point is that since you've put this before his mother showed up he doesn't have the Umi and Yama-senken. meaning no stealth, vacume blades or superstrength reinforcing unbreakable grip.
My big question to you then, is when are you going to teach him to fly, and since you're talking about all of ravens abilities in terms of Ki, will he be able to learn her telekinesis?
| Byakugan789 chapter 2 . 2/10
Huh. That's... Odd.
I could totally see this having something to do with raven dying after the events in the alternate timeline strikes disappearance cause, but the being regressed to children and then wiped out... That's a little odd. I mean, you're not writing for marvel where that kind of thing happens every now and then, this is DC where the heroes always win in the end, the apocalypse never sticks unless the heroes decide to explore it and see how important the situation really is before they go back and fix things, much like the nan an mirror in your interpertation. That and the villains tend to end up as jokes after so many episodes/issues before they get their retcon.

Thanks for writing this, even only into the first chapter I already alike it a lot.
There was one thing I felt the need to comment on though, I'm not sure how aware of this you are, I'd have to assume very since your characterization swerve spot on, but the words azarath, metrion, zinthos have nothing to do with raven or Nabikis spell casting, being an akashik mantra rather than the words of a spell. She could just as easily say bubble gum wrappers taste like ash and perform the exact same feats. Akashik mantra are a method of focus and discipline used to control the mind and body and thus, theoretically, the power of the user. The actual meaning of the words azarath metrion and zinthos are of a personal nature to raven, azarath being the world on which she grew up with her mother when they were summoned there shortly after her birth, metrion is the name of the shangrila type city in azarath where she grew up and zinthos is the 7thousand year old high priest who looked after raven while she was a kid and a citizen of the city. That's the point where the comics and the cartoon diverge.
In the comics ravens relationship with zinthos is much like Harry's with dumbledore. He's the caring manipulative old coot whose actions led to the original corrupting of the Titan trigon and hi scarring for raven was his redemption trip while he tried to train her to defeat her father. Their story further parallels in that ravens power is actually a small shard of trigons soul, one of seven pieces he uses to long himself to various dimensions he's trying to break into. Raven returns to earth where she was born because of a sense of betrayal towards zinthos gained when he revealed her origins to her in her late teens when he I thought her training was sufficient to start fighting back. Before that reveal she thought the sun shone out of the guys ass, again, much like Harry and dumbledore. Raven gathered the titans to her when upon her return her attempts to recruit the justice league were rebuffed by zatanna who refused to trust her due to her demonic origins.
In the cartoon zinthos was much more similar to the old man hokage and raven took the place of naruto. Absent parents, host to the power of a demon, brought in by the carrying old man and given training and some protection, but where naruto became a ninja at 13 and went on to become the village hero raven left at thirteen, tired of her 'villages' discrimination and the loneliness or cold empty stares. Further linking the two fictions trigon enters the world in the cartoon from within when the seal breaks at sixteen, similar to when naruto first gained the true measure of kuramas power and began nearly losing him time after time.
The really funny thing about my little rant here was that both of these fictions I'm comparing the Titan too came out me months after the arcs that ended trigon in their respective continuities, and as far as I can tell none of the three have anything to do with each other.
| InnocntBystnder chapter 6 . 1/22
I like the Nabiki attitude in this story...
Now, I am foreseeing Trigon, appearing suddenly as gigantic demon head before Nabiki Tendo, crying from his four eyes and saying:
"It is your duty, Raven, for the _honour_ of our family, to do the end of this world! Blah blah".
What do you think about a moustached Trigun?
"Waaaah! My daughter does not want follow the family business etc. waaah!"
Well, perhaps it can happen in the "TeenTitanGo!" spinoff of the fan fiction. :)

Pretty good, but I will note that Pizza is actually massive in japan.
Though they do put corn on it, so they might be missing the point.
I'll keep reading for the time being.
| Yobikir chapter 11 . 1/16
Okay now i want to know how Nodoka is gonna handle this Oo
| Kenko chapter 1 . 1/4
OK. One thing people are forgetting, is that just like almost evryoe else from the happy fun district known as Nerima, Ukyo is a nutcase. IN her own special way.
She's going to be absolutely convinced that Ranma would pick her and happily follow her into a wonderful paradise of Okonomiyaki, that she is saving Ranma from thye evil clutches of Nabiki, and that Ranma, who is having fun and a much needed sense of purpose as a superhero will want to marry her- despite the fact that he's not ready to marry anyone.
She isn't being dishonorable, in her perspective. No, she's following honor to the letter, trying to rescue Ranma.
Yeah. She's nuts. So is her pop. So is everybody back in Nerima. The only reason Ryoga ISN'T acting like as total lunatic is because he's NOT from Nerima- he just visits. At the least opporune times.
So, give Uu-chan a break. It's not her fault that her father has rather situational definitions of honorable, or that she's not completely in her right mind, or that she has no idea of what she's up against since - well, Forget Nodoka, she's up against a pack of superpowered individuals that can - each of them alone- erase her, her father, and probably her entire clan. (I'm looking at you, Robin. Considering who trained you, if you want to take the Kuonji's out of the picture, they do not stand a chance.)
Nah, seriously, giver a break.
Which will likely be just above the ankles.

Fantastic story, I truly love it and look forward to more :)
