A lovely one-shot! Maria had the key to the Captain's heart from the start, he's already dreaming of her and buying her gifts, even when his mind should be focused on the Baroness. Love it :)

Oh loved the dream at the beginning. Hah! she had already got under his skin the first night back from Vienna. Loved how he bought her material - even if it was rather naughty given that he was shopping with Elsa. Great idea about the key to the gazebo.

EXCELLENT fan fiction. Captain von Trapp giving Maria a key to the gazebo seems to mean more due to it having a heart shaped on it - especially after he has dreamed of her. Max being mischievous & spying on their conversation I like, as well as the story behind the blue dress. Hope you keep writing.

This deserves a lot more reviews. Like the Captain giving Maria the Gazebo key with the heart moulded onto the end of it. Encore!
