The writing is superb, but I do question your pacing, as far as going from Contact to total war.
I mean, each snippet is well written, but you go from Before The Fact to about a week or two into the ground war in just one chapter.

Well done sir/lady...the chapter was quite exiting and suspenseful and mixed in with both side equally brining on the pain it made this chapter an excellent read...

I hope you can uphold this level of quality and since I didn't notice any obvious grammar mistakes you must have put in quite the buck load of work into it, well respect where it's due.

By the way, are the Terrans going to get a somewhat friendly visit from their old allies and foes ( I mean some people who knew them in the Korprulu sector might be curious/suspicious about their absence...no?) because, well it would be nice to see both the reactions from the Turians and latter on Council species, might even get some laughs from reading about that...

Wonderful work here. Loving how the Terrans aren't too overpowered yet are still kicking a respectable amount of Turian ass. I'm wondering how you are gonna factor in the UEG here. I'm pretty sure they will be an issue at some point. Will we see the Zerg and Protoss? Colour me interested.
