Great short fic! I kind of understand they they are a couple of few words BUT I think that's part of what led them down the path that almost destroyed them (over and over). Dom pretending that he didn't hear her, that her coming back didn't mean to world to him was kind of sad. The fact that they hide their feelings from one another is kind of sad.

I would like to think they have learned from their past mistakes. That Dom actually loves Letty now and will stop playing around with her feelings and being with skanks all the time, like he was in the past. And not leave her behind. I have trouble believing Letty would come back without a clear understanding that he had changed from "that guy" who hurt her in the past.

On the other hand, her taking his charger and leaving him for her freedom (great line you wrote about how that word hit him in his heart) was maybe her way of showing Dom that she didn't need him but that IF they got back together it would be only after she claimed her freedom. She is not his property and won't let him treat her as such. Her choosing to come back shows that it is on her terms. And that she can live without him- which makes it all the more powerful that she now choses to come back to him and give them another chance.

Please write more dotty love and reunion!

Wow that was so good yet sad at the same time i would have to agree about dom and letty not needing many words its all about there facial expressions and eye communication between them too. Throughly enjoyed this.
