I feel like Bella is getting massively screwed over here. I think I would have preferred Tanya chasing me down instead of Kate and Rose if I were Bella in that situation. I have no problem with Kate and Rose hooking up they are both grown and can make their own decisions but it feels unfair that Rose, a mature vampire who wasn’t just abandoned by her best friend/lover/maker who had just claimed her, is allowed to run away when she gets overwhelmed but Bella isn’t. It feels like Rose is allowed to have her feelings and reactions and Bella isn’t. I was initially under the impression that the Denali’s were supposed to be good for Bella because they would consider her wellbeing and respect her but the more I read the more it seems like just a different flavor of bullshit she’s being forced to swallow. I’m curious why Tanya isn’t taking more of an interest in being involved in the training happening it seems like Kate’s perspective is biased in favor of Rosalie to the detriment of Bella. If I were Bella and my mentor had fucked my bond mate knowing I would be upset and confused by it and then ignored me until I hit my breaking point and then berated me for my reaction when I was the only involved party not aware that sort of reaction was to be expected I would have a hard time trusting that mentor going forward. Like I said earlier I have no problem with Kate and Rose fucking each other but both of them handled it in the worst way possible for Bella and of course Bella is the only one being made to bear the brunt of the emotional backlash. It makes both Kate and Rose seem selfish and lacking empathy and Tanya not getting involved makes her seem cold and uncaring at this point. The line about Tanya thinking that Kate could handle whatever hormonal mood Bella was in seems dismissive of not only Bella’s recent abandonment trauma but also of her valid emotional distress. Bella is so naive and under informed I thought the Denali’s were supposed to be helping her fix that and it seems like they are just going to leave Bella uninformed and unsure while punishing her for it all while refusing to acknowledge that their actions combined with the withheld information is what caused Bella’s emotional distress. Honestly I feel like Bella needs to grow some balls and distance herself from both Rose and Kate otherwise I don’t know how she will ever develop boundaries to protect herself and her peace. I feel like she needs some time away from Rosalie to stand on her own two feet and get to know herself and what she wants because without that I think she’s just going to continue to blame herself for other’s shortcomings and continue to accept subpar treatment because the people she trusts keep implying or outright saying that it’s what is natural.

Idk I decided to reread this story because I do genuinely like it but i just feel so bad for Bella knowing that everything ends up working out makes it better I guess but it really upsets me the way Rosalie and Kate handled everything and how Bella just accepts it. Kate keeps talking about how much she cares for and respects Bella but I never really see any evidence of that it seems like she’s team Rose through and through. Their relationship doesnt seem fair or balanced and rereading this section now knowing how Rosalie Kate and Tanya handle the Bella/Irina stuff that happens later makes it seem even more unbalanced and unfair.

I like this story dor the most part i get frustrated by Bella pretty frequently however is she an all powerful badass or not? Why is Victoria allowed to growl at Emmett and Alice and Rose is allowed to loose her shit over Victoria but Bella is uniquely wrong for growling at Kate for similar reasons. The internal logic of the story is off. It seems like there are different rules for each character and not an agreeded upon consistent conduct on what’s acceptable in the vampire rules or whatever. Like everyone but Bella is allowed to act in accordance with their beasts and pull domince moves on ither vampires and its excepted but when Bella does it somehow her own mates feel the need to put her in her place so to speak. It just doesnt feel like Bella is as dominant as her mates which is fine in and of itself but that should be proven by what the internal plot and dialogue of the story shows

Rereading this after several years and I still absolutely love this story and your writing. Love that it ending satisfyingly though I certainly wouldn't mind reading more :) Either way, Love the story.

this has been a truly awesome and well done story :). and while i wish it had been ended properly and completly im glad to see it reach the point it did atleast. overall im very satisfied with the various takes on the characters as well as there fates. i do however wish alice had a more permenant consequence for her actions but nods. an amazing story nonetheless one that will deff be reread many times :).

It's well written, I really like this story.

Interesting coupling with Victoria to add to that of
Bella and Rosalie which is one of my favorite couplings.
I also like the coupling between the three Denali sisters.
However, I still have the impression that the bond between the six of them is as important as the two companion bonds of the two trios.

I'm also surprised by Victoria's family connection with Aro. On the other hand, I'm not surprised that Edward went to Volterra to talk shit, this guy is always delusional. Just like Carlisle, he always had a soft spot for Edward unlike his other children.

I wonder if Rosalie will also have a family connection like Bella.
I wonder if Bella in the story, how she will meet the Volturi queens? It would be so cool to have a parental connection to the three queens of the Volturi.

Alice must be itching inside to have abandoned Bella by seeing her each time with Rosalie and Victoria by not being able to rejoin in their relationships.

And finally, Esmée, I wonder what she's up to since we haven't seen her for several chapters.

Loved this, what a beautiful journey, start to finish. I love how Bella came into her confidence as a vampire. How she realized she didn't enjoy being under Edward's thumb. She had a truly horrifying start but I think she went through exactly what she needed to find love and acceptance.

I really loved your portrayal of Victoria! Especially the vacation in Brazil and how she struggled with such young and modern mates and how enamored Bella was with her.

I have to ask, idk if you'll respond but that's okay if not, how many niches around the world did Victoria have if she was 3 millennia old? Not sure if that was something that you thought on. I was just curious

I love how your bonds work in this. Sometimes it's nice to have that instant connection but this one that grows in time works just as well. Especially for Edwards punishment !
