holy fucking shit i was no expecting that. also, this reminds me of myself tbh… i had quite the anger issue in middle school and people remembered that i’m high school so i was abandoned and alone in freshman year. i got suicidal, but at least my parents didn’t abandon me. honestly, i still feel a little suicidal but it’s gotten better. man this story hit too many points for my liking

I love the parallel of Thalia being the only one to hate Percy while everyone else befriended him, and then this time she's the only one who believes him

I absolutely love this version of Rachel, she's not always included in the Mortal AU fics so it's always nice to see her appear. I love that she 100% knows that Percy is a good kid and made it a goal to show him that.
