This is the fourth or so time I've read this and I still love it!

I'd love to see you post another chapter for us, give Deeks and Kensi an ending they deserve (together please! Sod the people who've said it wouldn't happen IRL; this is FF not RL! If they want RL go read an autobiography of an ex-field agent) and let them have another Honesty Hour to build their trust back up. Maybe add a couple of team moments to show they forgive Kensi after she talks to them all one to one? I'd really like to see her and Sam have a quiet chat, he was so sweet in chapter 8, being gentle and understanding and just 'getting' that it was all because of her feelings for Deeks. Go non-judgemental Sam!
Team trust could be built after Costa does resurface to grab 'Isabella' and together they capture him - maybe after a little more angst if he grabs Kensi/Isabella and they have to get her and the ledger back? Caring Deeks looking after an injured Kens would be a bonus ;)

Going to shut up now after blethering on but you've written a great story and I'd love to see it continued, please? I'm favouriting and following and hoping with everything crossed!

Emily asked Ian the same question about riding in the second van, and Ian Doyle responded with the same exact answer. I think it is cool your using there stories to add to yours. I wonder how many people picked up on this. Great job using other TV shows to influence the one you are currently writing for! Keep on Smiling! Your doing Great!

But...
Very well written story, except for the Densi part which keeps being nonsense from my point of view.
Kensi has a very troubled and twisted mind here. There are constant contradictions all over the story in her feelings, actions, wishes and expectations for her, Deeks and the team ... and Deeks ... well, Deeks is ... "love sick teenager", not a man in his thirties.
With this 18th Chapter, I would have favorited this story if Deeks even completely in love with her acted as a man in the end of the story: Telling her "it is done" and returning her "her knife" but without the "raccoon mate for life" speech part.
Kensi is in no way mature enought to start a lasting relationship with.
After this case he should hold on to his saying for the next five years: "Date me for a decade you deserve my hand in marriage.".
He should fight his feelings and consider her as only a Friend because she is not in love with him ... she only believes it.
All the "... We weren't ... I mean, you were free to do what you liked,so.." is another example of the nonsense I often read in stories.
As if staying true to one another, trust one another needed some "preliminary mutual agreement".
But the fact is when you're in love, really in love, you're no more free, your heart isnt free, neither are your actions free anymore.
When you're in love there is no "mutual conscent" needed, no "agreements", no written or spoken contracts, no ring, nothing is needed. Like in the "Frozen lake": your heart takes over and takes control. You dont need to refrain cheating because your just unable to do it. And if you do, it hurts you as much as your loved one.
As "JerichoSteele" said it once when I reviewed one of his story: Not all love stories are meant to end well. Right!
This one should'nt either, and if It was for real it would'nt.
Given the way Kensi goes territorial on Deeks in the Show, she should have known long before she slept with Cappo the amount of damage she will do and avoided it with any possible means (which would have been really easy given the team she has to back her up). If nonetheless she would have done what she did she would have been ashamed for years about her senseless actions.
Maybe one day Kensi will be in love with Deeks, until that day comes Deeks should give him, and her, enought space, and I would personnaly suggest him to try out girls who really seemed ready to "love" him (and not only "care about his safety"): Talia, Eva, Monica, ... even if that will be a lot harder for him (Because he obvioulsy IS in love with Kensi) then it was for Kensi to practice the whole kamasutra in Cappo's bed.
Like "JerichoSteele" I think there is a lot damage done here, unlike him I dont want Deeks to forgive her that easily... Like him I cant see how Deeks could consider Kensi sleeping with him any different than what she did with Cappo ... I cant see him wipe out selectively his memories and forget what she did ... on the other hand I dont see Kensi loosing her friendship status with Deeks ... her actions where wrong/bad/(dare I say stupid?) but she had good intentions ... she just cant be anything more than that right now...
Lets just say I am harder than "JerichoSteele" on the way Deeks needs to act with what happened.

Very Good Writing Job, but lets hope the last chapter(s) doesnt end with Densi.
I am a total and unconditional Densi fan but there are stories where it just cannot be.

"Like" is definitely not a word I would use to describe this chapter (or the whole story). I'm not sure that "love" covers it, too, though. Just... something more yet. In short: A-MA-ZING!
It wasn't too much talking, not at all, it was perfect. How you wrote it, it just seems real, they couldn't talk about them or their thing in just a few sentences.
About the deadline: how about next Sunday, latest option! Then I have something to look forward to as well. Now that the show is on summer break, I need good fan fiction more than ever (and sometimes they're even better than the show)! I am very curious as to how this story continues! :)

I've waited a whole day before I left my review ... wanted to make sure it had all sunk in and that I would give you my honest opinion, so hang on ... here it comes.

Wonderful chapter and nice, slow progression on the DENSI front. The 'talk' wasn't too long and pretty much covered the bases that have been hanging on over the past couple of chapters.

I do believe that Deeks could forgive Kensi that easily ... but I think she is going to have a much harder time forgiving herself the same way. I still take issue with Kensi sleeping with a mark, keeping the team in the dark, and getting off with a three week suspension that she spent in Hawaii. I know why you wrote it the way you did and I'm still in your corner, I just felt like the damage would have been more serious, especially to her and Deeks' partnership and friendship. This is why agents are not allowed to sleep with a mark ... too great a chance of an emotional attatchment forming and then it is turned and used against the agent at a later date. Sleeping with Cappo once was bad enough, but Kensi herself states that she started a personal relationship with him because it was the easiest way to gain his trust. We can't 'see' a person's motivations, we can only judge their actions and if Kensi turns around and sleeps with Deeks ... is it any different than what she did with Cappo? Will Deeks really be able to wipe all she has done from his memory or will it continue to haunt them as they try to move forward together? Forgiveness is one thing, rebuilding trust that has been broken is something totally different ... one doesn't necessarily lead to the other.

I'm also still shocked that Kensi doesn't understand that Deeks loves her ... He said it with a gun to his head and he didn't just do it to get under Cappo's skin. Is she really that dense or is she still trying to protect her heart? I know you're trying to move past all the Cappo crap and I'm good with that ... I just think that Kensi and Deeks both have a lot more to work through in the areas of trust, honesty, faith, and confidence ... they did a lot of talking in this chapter, it's time to put some actions to the well intended words.

I am loving this story, even though there are times it doesn't go the exact direction I wanted it to go. You have given us lots of drama, angst, romance, and just about everything else ... and for that, I am grateful and I couldn't be happier with it. You are doing an admirable job explaining why Kensi did what she did and I'm glad she is honest enough with Deeks about the implications of her actions and how much she hurt him. She has to ... has to ... continue to reafirm her commitment to him, not only as her partner, but as her something more.

Whoa that was just amazing! I'm re-reading the story at the moment because I had partly forgotten what had happened so far because it's been a while since you last updated. But don't worry, I'm not blaming you for that at all! It gives me the opportunity to reread this which is as I said simply amazing. I swear, in the scene with Deeks and Kensi almost kissing just before Hetty interrupts, I actually held my breath. Or rather I'm not entirely sure because I was completely "in" that scene, if you know what I mean. You are one of the few writers here who can actually pull someone in the story and write so well that one just forgets everything around one.

I think you did a excellent job on this chapter..I could feel the love and compassion, also the hurt and discomfort they have for one another. It felt real..Keep up the good work, and please update when you can..This story gets better and better...
